I'm also in the UK and have a lot of DK yarn. It's so nice to come across someone who uses DK instead of worsted weight yarn. I prefer using DK for baby items, I just personally think they look nicer and a little bit lighter for baby.

I can't wait to make this for my nephew's baby shower next month. Very good instructions but for anyone new when you say 3 loops on the hook there is 4. U count all the stitches on the hook. I have been crocheting for a long time so I understand what you mean but just incase someone got confused but I just love your work. Thank U.
