Because it’s expensive, and is only better than a couple strength or a thousand cuts over a large amount of turns. Additionally it slows the deck down even further and this means you only really want it if. 1.You are not fighting multiple enemies 2.the fight is going to be prolonged 3.you have the energy and card draw to spare This means that often I will be wary of overloading on powers and envenom is one of the lower impact ones
@@youshouldntadidthat7691 yep, which is why I said 'I know why it was skipped'. It was unneeded extra damage that would have slowed an already slow deck (playing thousand cuts was too hard several times). I just like the feeling of it, and seeing the sneko skull turn up was just an extra poke in the eye, like the game giving a Nelson laugh "Ha ha!"
@@SheyD78 The Snecko Skull and the Sadistic Nature was really sad to see get skipped. Always my favorite thing to make Sadistic Nature work in a deck, and Silent is the easiest of the characters to take advantage of it, especially with Envenom.
I’m super good at knowing what choice baalor will make because I just ask myself what choice I would make and what choice I would not make and the choice I would not make I know he will make. Hahaha
So like, is panache just better thousand cuts? I get that it's one you'll likely have to pay for but in terms of functionality is it pretty much always better?
Panache is only better if you can play 5/10/15/etc consistently. There's going to be many times where you can only play 7 cards in a turn and Thousand Cuts will beat it out. TC is much more consistent, and it's much more likely that you won't even have to pay for it. Panache is marginally better, and it mostly comes down to it being 0 cost.
Honestly, anyone; how is it that Blade Dance is a common card? 12 dmg for 1 energy, perfect for str/dex scaling, Cuts, AI, Envenom or vs. Avocado and Nemesis. Im not saying it should be a rare card (would still pick it tho) but, come on, atleast uncommon... right? Btw, Im not complaining, just wondering. Its like; the best common skill-into-attack-card in the game imo.
It's also a risky gamble since you need a lot of cards/risky to get the proper synergy allow Shivs to scale for late game. A poison deck would just need like 3 cards to be functional, while shiv decks need either a ATC, Accuracy, Kunai/Shuriken to scale, which is a gamble especially in A20. Also they are also not optimal when facing the Heart and Time Eater, while poison decks don't have the same problem
Cut through fate is probably the best attack in the game. The damage, draw, and scry on a common card is just always good. It's not reliant on any synergy whatsoever.
@@Taeerom I havent touched Watcher since it came out x) Im commited to reaching A20 on all the others first (Playstation)... been playing StS since during the early access (before The Defect was a thing) on PC but bought it on PS too and thats where I main it. It's split through multiple card plays. It's extra penalized by Weaken and strength loss. It makes certain monsters scarier, Nob being the most obvious. You need to have the space for the cards, which is occasionally a problem. It's penalized extra hard by Thorns. It's especially bad against the boss snail. The flexible enemies that block after each hit are also a problem. So, it's balanced by its drawbacks which can make it a very bad card in those situations.
My favorite relic has to be ice cream.. it’s insanely good. If I see it I know I won that run. You can use it for any type of deck. I would say best relic in the game as every time I’ve ever seen it I’ve won.

Potion start has also decreased the rare chance of Baalord ever taking potion start again.
I know why it was skipped, but it always hurts to see envenom left behind in a shiv deck.

It should have been grabbed. His damage could have used one final push. Cost & play we’re covered with Bullet Time and Plans.

Dang it’s tempting to play this seed and hop on the chem x train. Coulda had 3x skewer (one plus) and doppelganger by the first few floors of act 2
Auto upvote for shiv video
Tori did WORK this run, I had a very similiar run the other day that lacked the D needed against awakened one :-(
Tiny House needs to be at least three times as big for me to ever consider taking it.
"Added functionality has lead to added..."
Disfunctionality. Was on the tip of your tongue :P
Shiv builds are so fun!
Be the shiv you want to see in the world.
I'm a simple person. I see shivs, I click.
Why not take accuracy in act 3?
Wondering this as well.

What’s the mod that make marking on the map ?
On the steam workshop there are a few of these to choose from, sort by UI is easiest.
