oxidative phosphorylation Most of the ATP produced by aerobic cellular respiration is made by oxidative phosphorylation. The energy of O2 released is used to create a chemiosmotic potential by pumping protons across a membrane. This potential is then used to drive ATP synthase and produce ATP from ADP and a phosphate group.
Look my dear friend this question is not correct because if Examiner is asking that from One glucose how many ATP you can produce then your Answer will be 32 if considering that One NADH+ H+ produces 2.5 ATP and one FADH2 = 1.5 And Answer will be 38 if One NADH =3, FADH2 =2 recent studies shows that one NADH can form 2.5 and One FADH2 produces 1.5 ATP.....

Thank you for this brilliant efforts and my question is in anaplerotic reaction intermediates are not involve and its direct a result the end production then what the role of kreb's cycle
My dear friend in Anaplerotic reactions Catabolism is operated means ATP conc is less so intermediate of TCA should not convert into other molecules and TCA should run continuously...... Like alpha Ketoglutrate can change into glutamate but only when ATP are high, and then this reaction will be named as Cataplerotic reaction, and when ATP conc is less it is the time to rum TCA so glutamate is converted back into @ keto glutrate, this is Condition when Catabolism should operate and reaction is Anaplerotic...... Hope your doubt is cleared......
Question number 25 the ans will be oxidative phosphorylation. ATP released substrate level are the ATP and GTP but the total product can be collected through oxidative phosphorylation, Check it out

Thankyou so much! this Helped me alot! just an advice.. it would be realllyy useful if you could give a short explanation of each question from now on
Its not a right you say Total ATP formed during citric acid cycle is 38 it is wrong during citric acid cycle total 2 ATP formed
In one TCA cycle total 12 Atps are formed
38 ATP produce in TCA cycle
@@rubabmalik4321 10 ATP as we know 1 nadh2 = 2.5 ATP
Im in confused
Sir in case of glycolysis 1NADPH+H=2atp
And in krebs cycle 1 NADPH+H =3atp
its so confusing formation of 38 atp in citric acid cycle .actually over all from glycolysis and citric acid cycle total atp worth 38 .
Same confusion

yes
yes C will be right
These are great questions. Thank you sir
