Regarding Canon color science:
Canon colour science is the best among all brands , no doubt. Here we are talking about the default colour what Canon gives right out of the camera. However, if we set the custom picture profile appropriately, we can go very close to canon colours with some cameras (to an extent that we hardly would see any difference).
This however depends on what brand and category of camera you own and is not common setting for all.
For all those who do minimal edit on your photos and videos, Canon is better especially for portrait skin tones.
What we can expect next from canon upcoming full frame mirrorless camera because of those mind blowing rf lenses. Loved rf lenses

Hello, I own a Sony A7iii with Sigma e mount native lenses like
1. 24-70mm 1.4 dg dn
2. 85mm 1.4
3. 50mm 1.4
4. 35mm 1.4
And bmpcc 6k with Sigma efs lenses like
1. 18-35mm f1.8
2. 50-100mm f1.8.
I was in planning to buy my 3rd camera n that was Sony a6400 with Sony 18-105mm f4 G lens but now I m considering Canon 90D bcoz on that I wud be able to use my Sigma efs mount lenses 18-35 and 50-100 and on the other hand I can use my sigma full frame sony e mount lenses on a6400 as well. Consideration of 90d over a6400 wud be a wise decision after knowing that entire world is moving towards mirrorless cameras. Or simply 90d vs 6400 after owning above mentioned cameras n lenses list. Kindly put some light on it.Thanks

That nailed it. The best comparion Ive come across. I have been looking for this exact comparison and I have the canon ecosystem, ie flashes, some lenses which I have been using with my 60D. Even though I have to invest in new STM lenses(since none of my lenses are STM and 60D can't make use of STM added feature and my lenses are pre STM era.. 50mm prime, 55-250 II, Sigma 17-50 F2.8, 18-135 etc), I now believe I will be happy with 90D. I was blown away by some comparison of ISO performance between canon and sony. But later came to know, its more evident only in videos. But now I am clear. Will get the 90D as soon as its available in the market.

There are several available in the market for example AF-P DX NIKKOR 70 - 300 mm f/4.5 - 6.3G ED VR priced at 18k amazon....& AF-P DX NIKKOR 70 - 300 mm f/4.5 - 6.3G ED priced at 13k... If it has good reviews, you can go for Tamron.. I haven't tried one in that range though..!

If I was you, I would have kept my options open and brought a Sony 6400.

6600 is a better option, also better than 6400. But keep in mind 6400 is still a value for money..

If you are a cinematographer who needs a more dynamic range or flat profile I recommend Sony. But for a wedding photographer or videographer Good color straight out of the camera, I recommend Canon Love their color science. I have experience using both cameras.

I have both but I can assure you that Sony pictures quality and sharpness is way more superior than canon in every way. When it come to handling you can’t beat 90d.
If you want pictures or video to push their limits in post then Sony it is. If you want simple yet good then canon.

Truly speaking in my opinion both the camera are not worth. You get something and miss something in both the cameras. As such one don't get complete solution from either of them.
