Been watching your videos for a while and loving them. You have great tips, like using drill bits for spacers, for one. But, I really want to thank you (and Kevin Riddell) for giving me permission to use a belt sander on my furniture projects. At first, though, too much dust just using the dust bag, but when I saw you using yours I noticed the small adapter that allowed me to hook up my vacuum. What a game changer that was. I'd like to meet you in about 1,000 years and talk woodworking with the master carpenter.

Hello Ted! Thanks for the good words. Yep, I agree…belt sanders are awesome and sooo underutilized! Talking shop would be great!

Agree, the little details are what make a piece go from good to great. People often don't know why, but the overall effect is next level.

That was a fantastic video. I love watching you make the double bevel marquetry look so easy. I guess that comes from years of practice and in this case, the letters look amazing. I need to remember your tip to cut splines at the bandsaw since I typically do them with a flush trim saw but it's slow. Thanks for another fantastic video - it made today's bike workout much more enjoyable :-)

Love doing marquetry…It’s such a fun and rewarding experience. I think I learn every time I do it!
I usually eyeball cutting splines and “bump” into the box sides! 😡😆So I thought it would be worth it to have a low fence! Thanks for watching David!

Right!? Thanks. Here I used Waterloux in a satin finish on the inside. I love that stuff. And a medium rubbed lacquer on the rest.

@@ramonartful thanks Ramon, I've not heard of that, finishing is not my strong point.
