- In this video, I finally make time to build my Pantorouter Cart! I've been using it for a while now and I'm loving it! The extension wing functions very well for more work space, but closes out of the way for a smaller footprint. As with all my video's, I share a lot of tips and tricks throughout!

A problem is just a solution in reverse, great work Ramon.
Hey…I like that! Thanks a ton
You really have all the best tricks on the internet, and you're a great teacher. Yeah!
Thank you…means a lot to me
Great video Ramone. Although I’ve been woodworking for over 40 years now I still pick up little nuggets of gold in your videos. Looking for watching you for many more years.
Heck yeah man! Those are awesome words to see…much appreciated
Awesome Pantorouter cart. Always appreciate your videos/tips/tricks! Thank you...
Good to hear. I appreciate your positive feedback!
Always awesome Ramone. Thanks for sharing all the great tips. Love to see some in depth pantorouter vids in the future. Love to see more of that machine in action.
Thanks a ton Myles! Anytime I use the Pantorouter, it’s a treat. I just got their Template holder micro adjust. It’s gonna be a great addition. I’ll do what I can
Another awesome video! After 40 years in the shop it nice to see someone else's solutions to common situations. I have noticed a couple of times your shooting board and would love to see a closer look and the thoughts behind your design.
Me too!
I can do that. Next time I use it…which is quite often, I’ll share a bit about it. It’s no longer being made unfortunately. This was made and designed by Tico Vogt. Thanks
Fantastic ideas. I really like it. Just got a Pantorouter and need to make a cart. Good ideas here
Thanks! I like this cart a lot. The extra counter space is great and tucks away when not in use. I added two items to the front and side; a large paddle switch (I can bump it with my knee) and a vacuum port (connects my shop vac to the Pantorouter hose) Thanks for watching
@@ramonartful impressive
Gret video Ramon. Packed with great tips. I love the pull out draw support.
Hey Buzz! Thanks for watching! Looking forward to seeing your build
Just bought the pantorouter last week 😅
That’s great! You’re gonna love it!
Brilliant design 😋
Thanks. I’m liking it!
Great video and tons of tips and ideas.
Glad to hear you liked! Much thanks.
Ramon - really appreciate your practical approach to these types of projects and just the right amount of detail, use of secondary materials in hidden spots, etc. Always look forward to your videos and learn a lot!
Glad to hear it! Thank you
@@ramonartfulI have a tool question I value your opinion so here goes I’m in the market for a new planer I have a 8” jointer now but I’m thinking of trying a hammer a3 41 combo bottom line dedicated planer and jointer or hammer combo ? I have room so what’s your opinion thnx
@@plumbum6558 I always recommend stand alone machines if one has the space. I'm tight on room so I decided on the Hammer combo. It's really just a convenience thing...
@@ramonartful that helped thnx ! have any thoughts on on powermatic 20” 209hh or something else ? was going to order this morning unless you have different thought ?
@@plumbum6558 oops...I don't get all the comments on my phone YT app for some reason. I have to check em on my desktop. Anyway...I'm not familiar with any combos other than the Hammer line. Wish I was more help. You may have already ordered!
Couple good tips in there.
Ok, more than a couple 😂
Great! Glad you like. Much thanks.
Looks great to be honest I am thinking about particle board with oak edge bending form my shop furniture with formaica where it needs it its cheap and the side edge banding will keep the edges hole
Yep. Particle board and Formica is perfect for shop counters. Holds up well, glue comes off and like you said…inexpensive. Thanks for watching man!
did you ever generate plans for this? I am looking to build a comparable cart. Yours looks larger than the ones I have seen. It is a great looking cart!
I planned on it…I’ve just been busier than a one-armed drummer! Overall dimensions: Top; 35” x 28 1/2”
Cabinet 32 1/2” x 26”
Overall height; 31 1/2” which makes it 40 1/2” to the top of the Pantorouter table. Much thanks.
no way! where in NM? I’m in Alamogordo
I’m in the Four Corners area, Farmington…near the Colorado border. Probably 5 or 6 hours from you?
@@ramonartful oh nice my wife has family in Bloomfield
I’ve been having a hard time finding quality wood here in Alamogordo. Do you have a place that you buy from online or do you have a local supplier?
We use to have a great local source...Albuquerque Hardwoods...the main branch was there, but we had a store in Farmington. They're gone. So now, I have to order sight unseen from Intermountain Lumber out of Salt Lake or Grand Junction, Colorado. They have a truck once a week. Orrrrr....I've used Irion Lumber out of Pennsylvania. Pricey with shipping but well worth it! I've even ordered all of the lumber for a project out of the same tree! They're great. @@billoechsner1569
