My daughter has HS and we’ve had such a hard time finding a doctor who knows how to treat and manage it. She’s 16 now and has been suffering with it for about 4 years. It’s so frustrating. I like your simple explanations and your kind, gentle care. I wish there were many more like you.
I have a very mild case, but something that helped me was not using anti perspirant. There’s a difference between deodorant and antiperspirant. It works by blocking the sweat gland aka pores. Also exfoliating regularly. I hope your daughter finds what works best for her!
Thank you. She gets it mainly in groin the area. We have found that using free and clear laundry detergent, organic feminine products and the new period underwear, elastic free underwear or none at all if possible, exfoliating in the shower and keeping her from getting overheated have been a big help in reducing flare ups. She’s got a lot of allergies too so we have to be extra careful with everything we use.

So, thank you for your videos. We all have weird skin issues, and you should seek treatment.
@@e.g.3727 Every doctor has their own way of doing these kind of procedures. Alot of the time he cleans the skin before he records and he'll clean the area afterwards when he's done filming. I'm guessing he figures most of us aren't here to see him clean the skin before and after he's done. And as a fan myself, I don't want to see that either! I came for the pops! Just because you don't see him do it doesn't mean he hasn't. And even if he didn't clean at the start, I bet he cleaned her skin afterwards. And this is a recurring skin condition so no matter what he does, the blackheads, etc. will comeback eventually. He's doing this to give her some kind of relief.
I'm not a professional , but sometimes, after they have poked and poped more then the blood starts, seems like safely cleaning and blood is still coming, they would stop squeezing it & patch it however they gonna do it,cause I'm like someone else said I'm here to see the pops especially the unusual big ones, don't care about watching blood for minutes ;& minutes. I have this. Not the cyst pockets or scarring under my arms, but those damn blackheads. Such a pain to deal with. You were so kind and gentle with her ❤️
After years of dealing with the never-ending same black head under my arm pits, I finally burned mine off with an electric pen I bought off Amazon that burns the sack under the skin. It left me a pock mark, but they never came back. Wish I would have done it when I was way younger
Good one Greg. I’m sure it would be an ongoing battle to keep these from becoming cysts. Good luck & Thanks to the lady for allowing us to watch. Take care Greg & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
This was awesome! It’s such a painful condition and she was a trooper as you cleared her pores. What a difference this will make for her! This should be a monthly video-would love to see her again!💗
Bless her heart, thank you for clearing them for her before they became really inflamed. My niece has HS and I've seen the pain she gets with it. I hope that was the tv or something we could hear in the background and not someone shouting at your staff btw! Thanks also to both of you for sharing with us 🥰
This video is amazing, I'm so engrossed with it and I can't stop watching it. I'd love to do something like that. It helps take my mind off the cancer pain I'm having xx
God Bless you Sharon, and wrap you with his healing strength! I know that it is a hard road for you right now. I had my own journey with breast cancer 4 years ago. My prayers are with you.
WOW! These are the best kind of videos. Things that are not run of the mill are so much more interesting. Please post more 😊. Yours is one of my top 5 channels.
OMG I love doing these not only because I'm a Popaholic but because it helps the Patient. Wish I lived near Her, I'd work on them for free regularly. Love Your Videos 👏!!! Upstate NY Nurse here

He is clearing out clogged keratin in pores and untangling hair balls below, the skin! And mostly without anesthesia! His extracting of the infected cyst, always blows my Mind! That's a bad*ss move! 😅
I am so pleased to hear the Doctor is talking in a soft tone, other videos have a person extracting pimples and they are talking too loud near the persons ears/head area.
This poor woman. I wish I could wave a wand and make it go away. I get a blackhead under my arm about once a year. I can't imagine having this problem. You're always so gentle. Great job.
I wish I had a Derm that would help me like that 😔. Between both armpits, under both breast, my waist line, both thighs, and my groin. I have thousands of them. I thought when the two pores connected like that it was considered a sinus track? So glad it see you helping people with HS. This disease is devastating. So many of us suffer in silence 🥺. Thank Doc! You’re an Angel ❤️
I have this went to my doctor and was told it was because I am over weight and nothing can be done. Lost the weight and still no change. Love that now I have a name for it.
I am almost 42 I have had this since I was 13. I wasn't diagnosed until I was 27 !! Having lived with this for the past 29 years has been awful. This lady's case is around stage 2 of 4 stages I would say. This can be the most painful condition. Now you have a name, research it. There are forums and groups of people from all over the world in one place. Hope you don't flare up too much. ❤️
I watched a video yesterday of someone that had this condition. Hers was absolutely horrible with pus drainage. It seems in previous videos people must have told her it was because she needed to lose weight. She got gastric bypass or a sleeve.. can’t remember but she lost an extreme amount of weight and she still has this ongoing issue.
This is awful that a doctor would tell you that because you are overweight. I’m not a doctor and I don’t even have a college degree but I already knew this condition has nothing to do with being overweight. Not a good doctor at all. There is still a stigma against us that are heavier. I’m sorry you experienced that.
My mother would get these in her armpits and I would get them out for her. I think that’s what made me a popaholic. Her doctor told her to start washing with antibacterial soap and it did help her. This was in the late 90’s.
First...My heart goes to this wonderful woman for having to live with this condition and having this procedure done to manage. I'm a popaholic, so I don’t know if I'd attempt popping if any of my family had it...? But based on the scar tissue, you've had to do this for so long....💜💜🙁 I truly wish you didn't have to go through it.....
OUCH. Those look so painful! From personal experience I can tell you that a pair of tweezers with "grip" are the best for getting these suckers out. Once you get the edge out, gently get them with the tweezers and wiggle them right on out. Thanks to you for great pops and to your patient for allowing us into her life a bit
Oh man, the lil "coin purse" (exactly what I call them) blackheads all over the lower part of the armpit...Im surprised someone mentioned them! I was beginning to think I was the only one who dealt with those. Thanks for letting me know im not alone. I think I have Hidradenitis suppurativa, tho a VERY mild case of it. These vids are so informative.
I'm very fortunate to have never had any skin problems/ pimples as teen or even now. Anyway, the skin is very delicate in the armpits and not once did your patient jump. You're doing a great job.
Thank you for doing a video on HS. I've had HS since I was 11, and have been stage 3 (severe) for about 18 years. I've had multiple major operations, and I don't remember what it's like to not be in pain, it's ridiculous, and there's no cure for it.
Kayleigh, I read a comment at 1-month from a woman that said she waxes her air pits - no shaving. Scroll down and read. Her first name as something like Senea C.
I have this and hate it. It's painful, and embarrassing. Until I got married, I showed no body my body and it's honestly taken years to like my body. Thanks for sharing these educational videos.
Oh my gosh, My Pop, I REALLY love your sense of humor! I had a job that I had to sit as security at the top of the Coit Tower in SF. I was lucky enough to be able to use my phone to pass the time and one of my favorite things to do was to watch MrPopZit!!! I always use to watch them on mute though because of that. Well today I just got the sudden urge to watch your videos. I use to get pimples a lot, even into my early 30s. Around 33 I just stopped getting them ALL together. In a lot of ways I am lucky but I do miss popping stuff in all honesty. I just have an odd obsession with the phenomenon and you seem to share the same feeling. I was lucky enough to get a cyst when I was living in a highly populated living situation and I think it was staph. I got anti biotic and everything but it got pretty big. I let it get really big before I took the bandaid off. It was so moist and oozy when I took it off. It was SO ready. You know the feeling when it's just begging you to squeeze. I gently pressed and felt this amazing, tingly, relaxing pop that oozed out this crazy cool color. It was like grey and green stripes. A new color. You and I also share the fascination with the fact that they are always unique not only per person, but per zit as well. Anyway I love your stufff sorry for that zit-flick. Have a nize-en.
I was watching another video of a young lady whom said she had learned using Vick's Menthol from a jar. She said it may smell bad but that it had made all of the pores drain and her pain immensely less. Wear a shirt that will prevent it from getting on your sheets and in your hair she said. I hope this helps someone❣
Been living with this for years and years and I just can’t seem to ever find relief. It’s awful, it’s truly depressing. But, such is life. Perhaps one day I’ll find a doctor as educated and empathetic as you.
I had a clogged armpit pore. I had a raised nodule, and when I squeezed it, lots of oil was released. I've learned so much from watching popping videos. I could watch pops for hrs. ❤
I promise I’m not trying to tell u how to do your job. I have hs and discovered by doing what your doing stops big break outs. I bought tweezers I seen on a Chinese channel. They curve around on the ends and have pointed tips. They work awesome on the arm pits. The stubborn ones u get under till it starts popping out. Then u can pull it out. They also loosen stuff up to pull out. Just a suggestion. You are so awesome for staying on top of this patient!
Thank you for not getting so close we can't see what you're doing! I've pretty much stopped watching other channels because they get so close I can't see what's being done! Just found you!
I was just getting ready to say laser hair removal would help a lot! If cost prohibitive, waxing would be my alternative. I would also think some type of glycolic or AHA 1-2x a week treatment would help alot too. If nothing else a daily OTC lotion like Amlactin.
Very interesting. I’ve watched your channel here for a while and don’t believe I’ve seen you do this before. Usually it’s during a flare and a cyst forms that you empty. People that have this are super tough! Thanks to both of you for sharing. 😊🌷😊
That's how my HS presents itself. I just get an inflamed bump in the axillae, groin, or under my breast - and then as it gets larger it gets infected and turns into a pus filled cyst. Most of the time they drain on their own, once the skin gets so stretched. But axillae ones can be particularly difficult and I've been to the ER to have them drained. Last time I went it so inflamed and infected there was no way to put Lidocaine in it without having to peel me off the ceiling, so I just had to take it while the doc did the incision. Not fun.
I love how you pull the skin to see if you missed any areas. All the pops are exciting to watch. My only issue is the loud talking in the background when you’re in the room with a patient. I feel sorry if the person next to them was on a call and their that loud. It’s not professional
Oh, bother! This must be such an uncomfortable condition to have in armpits. It is like having an itch you can’t scratch. Thank you so much for letting us watch.
I am a licensed massage therapist living in florida, every once in a while i get to go after some easy or simple pops, black heads etc. I love when clients come in and want a body srub treatment on their back before bathing suit season. Of course i never go after anything serious like a cyst. But after almost 20 years of doing massage i just love the days when people want an inexpensive way to get their skin looking good before the beach. I've seen some whoppers. So fun.
YOU ARE AWESOME. THE BEST DOCTOR IN TE USA. You make people feel good about themselves and not gross!!!! You are so perfect for your profession. Thank you for being one of the good ones
Please tell her, I live in Kansas so I'm probably not close enough to do it myself, but I can guarantee there is someone nearby that would sit down and clear out every one of those pores for you so that you could raise your arms with confidence! It doesn't have to be a big deal, there are alot of people like me who want to do the extraction thing, but don't want to hurt the person.
So confused with the process you chose on this and so many questions are left unanswered. Just not all that sure this was a favorite video. And I absolutely KNOW I am not a doctor. Maybe that's why I have so many unanswered questiuons about this and the method you chose.
I have this condition. One of the things I do to eliminate flare ups is to wax the underarm and bikini area instead of shaving. Waxing gets down in all the little nooks and crannies not only removing hair, but also the surface blackheads preventing them from becoming inflamed and painful. I prefer five seconds of sting compared to up to two weeks of pain and discomfort from an infection. I also use a tea tree oil body wash and let it sit on my skin before rinsing. Don't know if this is okay, but it helps me. 😸
I’m so scared to wax and cause a flare up. 😢 But I use an antibacterial soap and only apart deodorant. Before the deodorant I rub alcohol all over the pits. The sticks seem to clog my pores more. I’ve noticed that stress makes kicks off a flare up session too. It’s a really difficult balance to walk with this. I damn near fall into a depression the moment I feel any tenderness start to form.
I have had hidradenitis suppurativa for years. Most people I speak to about it have never heard of it including GPs and nursing staff. I have never been sent to a dermatologist or been put on meds for it and it just gets worse with age. Now have large ulcers in armpits because of abscesses rupturing and skin not healing. What would you recommend to try and help/manage symptoms etc?
Oh my word, that sounds horrendous. If you’re in the UK, you are entitled to ask for a second opinion and a referral to the appropriate consultant. Sounds like your gp should have done that anyway? I hope you get some support very soon x
Does your insurance require a referral to a specialist? If so, request one. If the GP refuses, ask a different doctor for the referral until you find one who will give it. It’s important that you get to a dermatologist to help with this issue.
In the UK we don't have insurance. It is up to your GP to refer you to a dermatologist and for years now they have not referred me. This condition does not just effect under your arms but groin and buttom area. Really debilitating condition and would love to find out what meds can be prescribed to manage it!
@@joannamccolvin3194 It seems like the GP has been really lax in his treatment of your condition 😢 I truly hope that you get a referral to a dermatologist asap and get the help that you need 💟
@@joannamccolvin3194 Have you actually ASKED your GP for a referral to a dermatologist? If you have asked and he refused, can you file a complaint or switch to another GP? As you stated, most GPs do not know anything about HS so I think you should insist on a referral. There is a dermatologist in UK Dr. Khaled Sadek who has a RUclips channel and he does live chats regarding dermatology problems. He also gives info on how to reach out to him. Check his channel, he may be able to help you. I don't think MrPopZit is allowed to give individual advice on here. Good Luck to you, I too have HS and know only too well the pain you endure.
Since a lot of us watching this (and yes even me..lol) think we know a better way or easier way to do this. My opinion would be that after u picked at it I think u should use some kind of tweezer to pull out what's left in there...lol... Jus Sayin 🤷♀️

But because I was embarrassed, I would sneak a needle from my moms sewing kits and pop them, squish and then put on peroxide. It wasn't something I could talk to anyone about.

Michelle Todd same here! The sneaking to pick, the needles..some of the boils would hurt so,so bad
My sister things I have a sick problem, cause I like to watch it.HAHAHA she gets mad when she knows I'm watching them, I just laugh.
Congrats for the 500K subscribers. You are my favorite person to watch now.
I'm so curious. I gotta look that up! Thanks for the info.
This is a God send , videos on HS! Thanks to the Patients bravery for showing the world there is help!
Great video, Doc!!
😅.,
Bless her heart, thank you for clearing them for her before they became really inflamed. My niece has HS and I've seen the pain she gets with it. I hope that was the tv or something we could hear in the background and not someone shouting at your staff btw! Thanks also to both of you for sharing with us 🥰
LOL I know, I couldn't decide if somebody was havinga party or an argument on hate radio!
What does HS stands for?
Whenever I see the HS patients, me heart just breaks for them! I can’t imagine. Thank your patient please for sharing. 🤗🍀
😂
You earned your paycheck with this patient, Greg. God love ya.
This video is amazing, I'm so engrossed with it and I can't stop watching it. I'd love to do something like that. It helps take my mind off the cancer pain I'm having xx
God Bless you Sharon🙏🙏. I deal with pain also it is no joke.
God Bless you Sharon, and wrap you with his healing strength! I know that it is a hard road for you right now. I had my own journey with breast cancer 4 years ago. My prayers are with you.
Prayers for healing.
Sending love your way Sharon x
God bless you💞💞
WOW! These are the best kind of videos. Things that are not run of the mill are so much more interesting. Please post more 😊. Yours is one of my top 5 channels.
I literally stopped my morning plants 🪴 care when this notification "popped" up! 🤗 great as usual 👑of POPZITS
OMG I love doing these not only because I'm a Popaholic but because it helps the Patient. Wish I lived near Her, I'd work on them for free regularly. Love Your Videos 👏!!! Upstate NY Nurse here
This guy not only gets to do what we all wish we could do, but he actually gets paid to do it! Life just ain't fair!
This guy? He's mr popzit ...
Dude, he does what he likes and even gets payed for it, how's life not fair?
Lol he went to school to do what he likes to get paid for it 🤣. Shxt I I would have know about this 25 years ago I would be so happy with my job right now!
Maryann, it's never to late, to go back to school and take a medical course! You can do it! We are just popsters and love to watch his pops!
He is clearing out clogged keratin in pores and untangling hair balls below, the skin! And mostly without anesthesia!
His extracting of the infected cyst, always blows my Mind! That's a bad*ss move! 😅
I work in dermatology as a medical assistant. This is maybe 1% of what we do.
My heart goes out to anyone suffering with HS🧡 These were some really good popping blackheads. GOOD JOB!!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Can you please tell me what HS is? 😅
Greg, how amazing! Your explanation of your plugs and your pockets do tell the story! You did an excellent job removing them! 👏
I am so pleased to hear the Doctor is talking in a soft tone, other videos have a person extracting pimples and they are talking too loud near the persons ears/head area.
Super interesting video! Never seen blackheads and whiteheads like this in the armpit. Poor woman, glad you're taking good care of her!
PA. Not doctor. PA.
@@Dillydoll thank you 🤗
I watched a video yesterday of someone that had this condition. Hers was absolutely horrible with pus drainage. It seems in previous videos people must have told her it was because she needed to lose weight. She got gastric bypass or a sleeve.. can’t remember but she lost an extreme amount of weight and she still has this ongoing issue.
@@michelleelle4622 there is no known cure.
This is awful that a doctor would tell you that because you are overweight. I’m not a doctor and I don’t even have a college degree but I already knew this condition has nothing to do with being overweight. Not a good doctor at all. There is still a stigma against us that are heavier. I’m sorry you experienced that.
Well Doc. Another absolutely fabulous video. U never disappoint. Keep them coming. Happy Popping
Stellar video greg. Looks like her condition is clearing up. I know she's thankful.
I really enjoyed this one! Thank you for uploading!
I wish more people knew how preventable and manageable this is. Weight-loss and getting your hormones balanced would be of great benefits!
Ahhh and there you have just found the cure for Hidradenitis suppurativa. Well done.
These were the best!! This type of extraction is my favorite!!
Heck of a spot for those irritated blackheads. Thanks to your patient for letting us see her treatment. 👍
Great camera work. Good close up shots. Much appreciated, Thanks for your contribution as well Greg!
I'm very fortunate to have never had any skin problems/ pimples as teen or even now. Anyway, the skin is very delicate in the armpits and not once did your patient jump. You're doing a great job.
Thank you for showing awareness to HS!!
Thank you for doing a video on HS. I've had HS since I was 11, and have been stage 3 (severe) for about 18 years. I've had multiple major operations, and I don't remember what it's like to not be in pain, it's ridiculous, and there's no cure for it.
Kayleigh,
Saying a prayer for you and your condition.
Like the unique spelling of your first name. Hugs.
Janet from Mound, Minnesota
Kayleigh, I read a comment at 1-month from a woman that said she waxes her air pits - no shaving. Scroll down and read. Her first name as something like Senea C.
What a delicate place to clear a woman’s skin. She’s a tough cookie. Glad she has a great doctor. God bless all. Hugs from Mound, Minnesota USA
I have this and hate it. It's painful, and embarrassing. Until I got married, I showed no body my body and it's honestly taken years to like my body. Thanks for sharing these educational videos.
I like how you talk to her and I’m sure it makes her feel more relaxed!
I am so sorry you have to deal with this condition. Huge hugs to you.
Awww please do more on her. I could spend all day clearing her skin
These pits are an absolute gold mine!!!
Please say there's a Part 2! This was awesome
I think I heard his same they were trying to schedule a follow-up in a few weeks.
I absolutely love how clean and thorough he is! Thank you!
You are such a caring care giver. I’ve learned about so many different types of conditions. So sad she has to deal with this.
I am very pleased with the association you have with your patients. Just the tone of voice alone is relaxing. Good Job.
Thank you for showing the difference between HS pseudocomedones with tunneling and usually blackheads.
I had a clogged armpit pore. I had a raised nodule, and when I squeezed it, lots of oil was released. I've learned so much from watching popping videos. I could watch pops for hrs. ❤
OMG... she's awake! I couldn't take it under my arms and I've had major surgery! What a brave lady. Good job, Dr. 🤗👋
Have you seen Jada Kennedy’s Waxpert Loft videos?
She had a client with HS that had amazing HS squeezes💕
The ones with the clump of hairs. Amazing!!
God bless this woman, shes strong.
Armpit extractions are truly underated💯👌✅
Thank you for not getting so close we can't see what you're doing! I've pretty much stopped watching other channels because they get so close I can't see what's being done! Just found you!
Wow! This lady is a trooper putting up with the sticks and squeezes. Had to hurt.
Awesome work! Never thought about an armpit would have pimples! A+++++
Laser hair removal was the key to clearing my armpits. Totally worth it.
Edit to add: Hibiclens and exfoliating too.
I was just getting ready to say laser hair removal would help a lot! If cost prohibitive, waxing would be my alternative. I would also think some type of glycolic or AHA 1-2x a week treatment would help alot too. If nothing else a daily OTC lotion like Amlactin.
Hi. Did you get them removed and then do laser or just went and got laser?
It's so great watching a professional. Thank you Sir!
Great video, enjoyed your commentary! Only drawback was the loud people in the background or other area of the office.
I'm not sure why but this has quickly become a fave of mine to watch
Very interesting. I’ve watched your channel here for a while and don’t believe I’ve seen you do this before. Usually it’s during a flare and a cyst forms that you empty. People that have this are super tough! Thanks to both of you for sharing. 😊🌷😊
I think you are right! I know Jada Kennedy does arm pits but you have to see a bunch of Vjjs before you get to the good stuff😒
Not fun.
I definitely feel for this woman. Omg. I get ingrowns here & there once in a while. I pray she finds relief & gets better!
I'm wondering...if the clogged pores are mainly created by ingrown hairs, wouldn't laser treatment for hair removal help?
I love how you pull the skin to see if you missed any areas. All the pops are exciting to watch. My only issue is the loud talking in the background when you’re in the room with a patient. I feel sorry if the person next to them was on a call and their that loud. It’s not professional
Oh, bother! This must be such an uncomfortable condition to have in armpits. It is like having an itch you can’t scratch. Thank you so much for letting us watch.
We need to see her again!
So fun.
I never want your videos to end!!
This is disgusting and I LOVE watching Haha. Your job is amazing!! God bless you 😊
I can't imagine having acne in my armpit. Thanks for sharing your story ❤
My armpits are SO ticklish that this almost hurt me to watch. She's a trooper for sure!
YOU ARE AWESOME. THE BEST DOCTOR IN TE USA. You make people feel good about themselves and not gross!!!! You are so perfect for your profession. Thank you for being one of the good ones
Really cool! I'm so glad to see these folks being treated for this disease.
Very interesting video. Thank you and your wonderful patient. Hope to see her again.
Wow those arm pit black heads are smarts for sure and the patient doesn't even flinch once. You're the man 😂
So confused with the process you chose on this and so many questions are left unanswered. Just not all that sure this was a favorite video. And I absolutely KNOW I am not a doctor. Maybe that's why I have so many unanswered questiuons about this and the method you chose.
I have never seen this on anybody's under arms. that's awful. I'm glad she has you
I have this condition. 😸
I think I would start this
The waxing sounds like the smart thing to do..
Much better lighting this time and not overexposed! Good work!
Awesome extractions!! Great job Mr Popzits.
Since a lot of us watching this (and yes even me..lol) think we know a better way or easier way to do this. My opinion would be that after u picked at it I think u should use some kind of tweezer to pull out what's left in there...lol...
Jus Sayin 🤷♀️
Thanks for changing things up! Thank her for us😊
I knew HS patients could get cysts, but never knew they could get blackheads. Wow. I can't imagine having all of that in my armpits. That has to hurt so bad.
