Square body gauge cluster maintenance

We are doing upgrades and maintenance on this GMC square body. After 48 years the lights aren't as bright, and the lense is so cloudy a guy can't even see the gauges in the daylight.

I would have beat Chad, but I was in the ER getting a busted up shoulder fixed up (til Monday)... This was a great video. What a differece the new lense made! My '69 Camaro is very similar to the way yours comes apart. I could not get the LED's to work, so I'm back to the standard bulbs. It's almost buttoned up. This was great You're a great speaker too 👍

Reminds me when I was taking the padded dash out of our truck. Looks like a pain to get that instrument cluster out. Seeing that it was kinda light out before the last clip then last cip dark lol. 72 f250 5 screws. Great tutorial of how to. I'm 💯 getting a square body in the future.

Yeah it went in to the next day. Because the oil pressure sending unit line and the speedometer cable were holding the instrument panel in and not letting it come out... in the future we are gonna put in digital gauges.
