I am a Turk from modern Turkey. I think the Ottoman Empire and the Arab world under the Ottoman Empire must be looked into well to understand better. And don't forget that history should be judged according to its time and context. If we just judge from Today's perspective we may go wrong. As a Muslim Turk, I can say that my ancestors did not just invade the Arab world and the other places like the Europeans colonized countries in the past. Ottoman Empire tried their best to bring peace and just to the countries they went. And they never forced to make them change their religion or culture. But we should accept that Ottoman Empire was unable to keep up with the Western world in the modernization of the Empire and it did a big mistake to fight together with the Germans, who failed the two World Wars. Despite some of the attempts to modernize the system, the Ottomans failed to be a modern Empire. And also because of the challenging location of the Empire, it easily broke into pieces by countless enemies from outside and inside. I believe the biggest reason, which made the Empire collapse, was not from outside, but inside, which is not being able to keep up with the new world, and I believe this was a tragedy for all Eastern and the Muslim world. Nevertheless today we must not blame each other as Turks, Arabs, or other nations, rather we have to build a better world together with all nations including the West and East, not excluding any other nations. the world has become a small village. She had made several efforts to have her father's body buried in Istanbul, but could not obtain the permission of the Turkish government. He had wanted to be buried in either Turkey or Hyderabad. Niloufer called one of her friends, Malik Ghulam Muhammad, a former official in the Nizam's Government, and who was at that time the Governor-General of Pakistan. He called Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the then King of Saudi Arabia to relay the request. The King agreed to grant the request, and he was finally buried in Saudi Arabia in the Al-Baqi'.

The last Sultan was Vahiduddin Mehmed VI then the sultanate was abolished but caliphate remained intact even after the Republic was declared. AbdulMajid II was declared the new Caliph. So he was the Caliph during the first months of the Republic. After a short while caliphate was also abolished and all members of the Ottoman dynasty was sent to exile. They were allowed to return in the 70s.
What rise from the small turkish beylik in Anatolia in 1300c to the biggest and eventually rise to a world dominating superpower and becoming the caliph for the whole muslim ummah but had such a horrific end. Nebi Eren I thought it’s Abdulmejid II as it is written on his granddaughter Neslisah Sultan’s book and the last Caliphate was abolished in 1924, he only ruled for 2 years meanwhile Ottoman monarchy has fallen in 1922. He was exiled to paris and died there, the burial in Medina.

I am a Turk from modern Turkey. I think the Ottoman Empire and the Arab world under the Ottoman Empire must be looked into well to understand better. And don't forget that history should be judged according to its time and context. If we just judge from Today's perspective we may go wrong. As a Muslim Turk, I can say that my ancestors did not just invade the Arab world and the other places like the Europeans colonized countries in the past. Ottoman Empire tried their best to bring peace and just to the countries they went. And they never forced to make them change their religion or culture. But we should accept that Ottoman Empire was unable to keep up with the Western world in the modernization of the Empire and it did a big mistake to fight together with the Germans, who failed the two World Wars. Despite some of the attempts to modernize the system, the Ottomans failed to be a modern Empire. And also because of the challenging location of the Empire, it easily broke into pieces by countless enemies from outside and inside. I believe the biggest reason, which made the Empire collapse, was not from outside, but inside, which is not being able to keep up with the new world, and I believe this was a tragedy for all Eastern and the Muslim world. Nevertheless today we must not blame each other as Turks, Arabs, or other nations, rather we have to build a better world together with all nations including the West and East, not excluding any other nations. the world has become a small village. We should just see history as a lesson for a better future. God bless you all.

In 1954 When the sultan had passed away,the turkish government refused to have him buried in turky,his daughter princess durrusevhar of berar ,called Niloufer requesting help for the burial of her father. She had made several efforts to have her father's body buried in Istanbul, but could not obtain the permission of the Turkish government. He had wanted to be buried in either Turkey or Hyderabad. Niloufer called one of her friends, Malik Ghulam Muhammad, a former official in the Nizam's Government, and who was at that time the Governor-General of Pakistan. He called Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the then King of Saudi Arabia to relay the request. The King agreed to grant the request, and he was finally buried in Saudi Arabia in the Al-Baqi'.

The last Sultan was Vahiduddin Mehmed VI then the sultanate was abolished but caliphate remained intact even after the Republic was declared. AbdulMajid II was declared the new Caliph. So he was the Caliph during the first months of the Republic. After a short while caliphate was also abolished and all members of the Ottoman dynasty was sent to exile. They were allowed to return in the 70s.
What rise from the small turkish beylik in Anatolia in 1300c to the biggest and eventually rise to a world dominating superpower and becoming the caliph for the whole muslim ummah but had such a horrific end. I cry when i think about the last 5 decades of the ottoman empire . May Allah bless sultan Abdul Hamid ||, Mehmed the conquerer, Osman 1 , Suleyman the magnificent, Bayezid 1, Salim 1, Ertugrul Ghazi, Murad1 and 2 and all those other sultan who layed the foundation of the ottoman empire. May Allah gave them Jannatul Firdous

Nebi Eren I thought it’s Abdulmejid II as it is written on his granddaughter Neslisah Sultan’s book and the last Caliphate was abolished in 1924, he only ruled for 2 years meanwhile Ottoman monarchy has fallen in 1922. He was exiled to paris and died there, the burial in Medina.
