The Union Jack inserts should be twisted 90 degrees, the "X" shape is horizontal, not vertical if that makes sense. Loved my R56, looking at getting another one soon.

I got one of the tow hooks a few weeks ago. But...no matter where I start spinning it on, it NEVER sits perfectly up and down when I'm done! It's always on an 'angle'! So..gotta get another nut and screw it on first so I can make a 'lock' nut. But..it DOES look good on there! ;)

Great ideas. I also have 2014 Countryman S and made same mods. Another inexpensive mod that looks awesome is a carbon fiber shift knob. Always gets nice comments.

Dont waste your hard earned money on those tow hooks. I bought a Countryman and didn't get five miles down the road and it overheated. I called a rollback and put that tow hook in the front bumper and the car didn't make it more than a foot up the rollback ramp when the tow hook broke so they absolutely do not work. You shoud have a factory OEM hook under one of the front seats. Use that.
My eyes hurt on this video 😥 Mini Cooper is a great car itself, no need to stuff it with cheap cliche things that are not supposed to be there.
Especially the “looks only” tow hook when you’ve got a proper usable one in the boot

Beyond the stubby antenna, which was installed since a "shark fin" won't clear the glass roof, the rest of this stuff is largely a waste of money and time. Just go out and have a good time with a great little car.
Not really Mods. Just tat that makes the car look tacky. Would look much better if you just cleaned it.

I never get why you'd want to advertise the fact your Mini is likely to break down quite a lot by permanently putting a tow hook on it😁
This was the first car I've owned that came with a tow hook from the factory. Was in the glove box. (Not the red one) but a aluminum one. I guess mini knew 😶

I'm not being debbie downer on your joke. I loved it. But in my state, Wyoming, getting stuck in the snow is a common occurence. Last week, we had over 100 inches of snow bombed on us. Even the trucks were stuck in town.
