Hello! Usually they have hairdryer in hostels, last time I’ve travelled with those huge backpacks, I did take my curler with me, why not 🤣
Also I massively over packed and ended up wearing the same stuff a lot. I’d recommend you only take 4 bikinis and plug a extension lead into your adapter as you then only need one and can charge multiple things at the same time. The best travel hack I can give you! Xx

Recommend getting some bushmans when you land. Its sunscreen and bug repellent in one. Any grocery shop or chemist stock it
And don't be surprised if it's wet, especially once you get up into Queensland
Don't underestimate the sun here. I don't recommend sun tanning
