Hey Anna, as someone who did a years working holiday visa in Australia, in the hostels I never ones used theTupperware i packed. Me and a few girls would just collaborate on our food so there was never left overs especially as food theft at hostels is a problem!
We did Thailand for 3 months with 45Litre bags and love how you've got a 85Litre bag for 6 weeks ahaha xx

Probably too late now as you’ve gone but usually the compartment at the bottom is for a sleeping bag and you can’t pack much in it for risk of it falling out. Unless yours is like a zip or something. Have fun!

Jungle formula spray and after bite cream is the absolute BEST for deterring mozzy's and stopping the itch after a bite! I've just worked out in Albania and didn't get bitten once with that stuff! Defo be the first thing I pack for my aus trip!
