Steve, love the lights. I run lithium powered LEDs in our camper. When I was a kid we lived very remote and never had electricity in our house from the national grid until 1972. We did have a diesel generator for electricity but that was expensive to run. So for lighting we had Coleman White Sprits Laterns like the Brass one you have. This was lit then clipped to a rope on a pulley and suspended from the ceiling. They got bloody hot quickly and were dangerous to refuel especially when they were still hot. I can still remember the noise and the smell from those laterns. Thanks for your clip and the memories. 🙂👍
Thanks Steve for sharing all your information with the lights you have wow you certainly have heaps glad you guys are on the mend I’m glad I’ve never had Covid I don’t think I would last it I caught it. 👍🇦🇺🐾❤️
Hope you are both feeling better now. Take it easy for a bit, it can take a little while to fully recover. Keep an eye on your BP, it seems to trigger too low or too high for some people & can stay high with little or no symptoms. I love the oztrail ‘street lamp’, we have the one that has a dimmer switch & it is so good for cooking by or setting up camp; lights up a huge area, as you said, but a really nice soft light. Really hate bright lights, especially when camping. The kickass set are a new favourite & the latest ones added to my husband’s expansive torch collection; good they can turn off at any setting by holding the power button & the run time is fantastic.
I love the kickass lights. the only things that would make them better are, a display to see how charged they are, and an extra or better magnets on the big one as I find they can easily fall down especially if bumped.
I have a Ridge Ryder mosquito light/lantern, I find the light functions good but the mosquito part quite bad, I have seen similar and it was good at killing mosquitos , so I may have got a dud.
Thanks Steve , another great video .That Stubby holder belongs in an museum .👍👍🍻🍻
Cheers mate yeah he even had more hair in that picture on it 🤣👍
