Li-Time 200AH lithium battery installation in the FJ
Misleading title. 20 mins waffle for reheating a gross precooked supermarket meal. Disappointing to see all these utubers pretending to care about Australian made gear but all the food is coming from coles/Woolies. I’m yet to see one advocating small business, whether it be butcher, bakery or fresh produce. Especially after the giants have been found guilty of ripping you off. (Not to mention they decimated small business, free market and any real option of choice). P.s. you’re going to put yourself in an early grave eating that poison. It’s full of preservatives, quite possibly cooked in that plastic, then you gone and heated it further in plastic.
I appreciate your comment and I understand what you’re saying. Everyone’s point of view is important just so you know I know exactly where this beef breast is made in the town that I live in by a company called swickers along with most of our pork products ,this is a local company that has been going for over 30 years and employees over 100 locals in our town and I don’t buy all my meat at the major supermarkets. I actually buy most of my meat from the local butcher , the pre-cooked meal is not something I regularly eat. I think I’ll probably only bought two or three of them in over 12 months. Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated
The new one turns off in 2 hrs max? and that's the upgrade from the old 8 hrs max?
Bloody noice 👌 those silos are just brilliant mate, I love how realistic they look. Couple at the old Portland cement works near Lithgow. The way they get the scale correct is very impressive indeed. Old rural towns with their quaint little bullnosed buildings are the best - give me them over a beach front McMansion anyway. Love the little van too mate, great to see it out and about getting used. 👍👍 Happy safe travel to you both.
Another great clip mate. Cheers Steve
Silo art has really taken off the last few yrs. Great work Steve, really interesting.
Thanks mate hope you and Barnsey are well happy gold hunting 🍻🇦🇺👍
5:45 The birds look like Brolgas. Indigenous dancers often do the Brolgas display dance. Thank you for sharing

Thanks Steve and Annie great video and good to see you in Victoria. Keep ‘em coming !! 👍👍🍻🍻
Thanks mark we really enjoyed visiting Victoria. There was so many beautiful places we visited more to come. 🇦🇺🍻👍🏕️
That first silo is one of the best I have seen.
Yeah mate, definitely one of the good ones , there will be more to come in future videos. There are some talented artists out there.
👏👏👏👍👍👁️👁️😎😇🐕🦺currently in Tallangatta,stay strong.
Great clip Steve, the silo art trails are a great way to visit little country towns and get a sense of local history of the area you’re traveling through. The artist’s that creat these peace’s of art are truly talented people and they never fail to amaze me .
Thanks Tim. Yes certainly some amazing places out there in this country. We have plenty more to come so keep watching. Cheers thanks for your support.
Thanks for sharing this with us keep them coming Steve
Cheers mate! Glad you liked it.
Where’s the sound
What sound I just played the video and it was working okay?
Is it a re badge genx from Ali express
👍
Cheers for that Steve...I got a lot out of that. 👍
very nice, thankyou.
Thanks for watching.
Cool good on you Steve for redoing it the right way we all make mistakes AAA
Thanks I thought I better get it done properly cheers 👍
Steve I’m having de ja vu. I’m sure I seen this vid couple days ago. Anyway very informing
No you’re not having de ja vu . Yes I did release it a couple of days ago but had to make a couple of changes and the only way I could do it was re-edit it and re-put it up again Thanks for watching again though. Much appreciated. You’re not going silly mate. I am. 😂😂
👍Got it.
Really great to see Oz made. awesome camper
This is the old model, the new 4 litre has been out for a couple of months, would love to see that reviewed !!
How hot does the outside get? I'm worried about fire.
It doesn’t even get hot at all. You can pick it up with your hands when it’s running.
Thanks Steve for sharing your experances with us
put a bit of grease or vaseline on the axles
Thanks
Keep doing reviews,as not many comments made on this van, have you look at a bat wing ,awan good video.
👍👍👁️👁️😎😇🐕🦺❤️🙏
Interesting clip mate. Cheers Steve
You have put me onto the honey chilly it's terrific I agree.
I know it’s bloody good
Interesting, 1% different in battery time (including running the inverter) & they cooked in Half the time on 240v 🤠
There’s no difference really in battery usage but the 240 V was pulling 1.1 kW of power from the battery unless you have a good battery system I would say go for the 12 V I have no problem. Running the 240 with my system.👍
Lovely Ep and test Steve
Interesting comparison, thanks Steve.
Another great comparison Steve. Based on this comparison it looks like the 12v fryer used around 9ah to cook four Chicken Tenders and the 240v fryer used almost 11ah to cook three Chicken Tenders. Our last camp I cooked for 5 people. How many Chicken Tenders do you recon you can you cook at once in each fryer?
Yeah like I said the 3 L one is only really good for one or two people. I could’ve probably put all the chicken tenders in either of them would’ve had to turn them halfway through I only separated them because I only bought one packet and I had to cook them up in both for the demonstration, but I think the 4 L version has a little bit more room one thing I have noticed most air fryers even 240 V ones. Don’t have a lot of room unless you buy a really big one but for one or two people the one I have is perfect for us.
@Sawadventures67 Yeah your right, I was getting keen but I just don't think I could cook enough food for us all.
Great video Steve. The problem with a 240V system is you will have top purchase an inverter and also need to have a Lithium battery that can handle the higher amperage. Found it very interesting that the 240V one switched off the heating element during it running. Stay tuned. I have a video coming out soon to talk about the 4L compared with a 4L Air fryer.
Exactly mate that’s what I was saying unless you’ve got a really good 240 V system and a good battery. Something that can handle at least 100 amps continuous. You’re better off with a 12 V version. Looking forward to seeing your clip 👍
Great video as usual, what van is that in the back ground?
Thanks Tony. Much appreciated. That’s my old teardrop camper. Will be selling it soon.
@Sawadventures67 Thanks, mate, keep up the great work. We look forward to your videos each week
Hey steve great vid as usual. I have had on of these units for the past 6 months I love it. Agree with your first vid the travel buddy is great for when driving but you can't beet the air fryer once at camp much faster.
They reckon I can jibber. 😂 My title is under threat.
Been studying you for years 🤣🤣👍🇦🇺
Also I still have to learn how to start talking about a product then talk about 55 other things lose track of what I originally started talking about then ask the audience. What was I going on about? Then I should have your skills down Pat so watch out.😂😂🍻
Im with ya buck lol
It would be an incredibly close competition 😂😂😂😂😂
K mart has good cheap 240v air fryers. We have the small one for the van and a bigger one for home. Brilliant bits of kit.
Yeah you can buy air fryers just about anywhere. The demo was more to do with the power usage of the 240 v against the 12 V version either one will do the job but the 240 will do it quicker and if you are running it off a 12 V system with an inverter Just make sure you have a good battery and a good inverter 👍
Steve , good review on both units . I agree the 12 volt one is the way to go . Stop showing me more things I need to purchase . 🤣🤣Keep up the great work ! 👍👍🍻🍻
Thanks, mate! I’m glad you liked the review - I’ll try to control my shopping urges! 🤣
Good video. One further step you could've taken would have been to use your wireless temp probe to measure the exact time each unit took to cook to a specific internall temp rather than just eye balling it as to whether they were cooked. But otherwise, a good comparison Steve.
Yeah I do have a air fryer that has a temperature probe built-in into it but I just wanted to demonstrate the power usage more than anything they tasted cooked so it must’ve worked out alright cheers mate. Thanks for your support. Glad you enjoyed.
Great comparison Steve, and thanks for sharing it with us.I really enjoy watching you channel very informative a specially the camping video.
Appreciate the feedback. I'm glad you like the videos, I put a lot of effort into making them helpful and fun for everyone.🍻🇦🇺👍
Great review!
Thank you
How do you know when they are charged? Flashing red for ages.
They do take awhile to charge should just be continuous red colour and fully charged
@@Sawadventures67 TY😁
I didn't get a hat
I've been thinking about these fryers. I'm keen to see how it goes. Be a cracka to have out prospecting.
Great little cooker thanks Steve for sharing this with us
Great clip Steve and not a bad little product indeed. The old air fryer’s, heard people rave about them and thought they’re just another “fad” but after buying one and being able to do roast pork’s ( with the ultimate crackling ), meat pies in no time, chicken strips and fish fillets etc - I bloody love ours !!!! They’re awesome ! Good take on a new product and thanks for sharing. Cheers mate and safe happy travels 👍🤜🤛
Cheers Grant I appreciate your input. I read your reply on the other comment. It is great to get different opinions on our videos. I did think to myself I paid too much for this but I see your point of view as well. Not everyone can afford the system to run 240 V system, so yes, this system most people could use. Cheers mate. I appreciate your thoughts. Happy camping stressless 😉👏👍🇦🇺
I think the price is a rip off when you can buy a 240v for $50 to $60
Yes I can’t disagree with that ,I didn’t pay full price but even at the discounted price I paid to much , it’s not for everyone. That’s why I do the videos so that people can make up their mind.
Maybe … but then not everyone has a big 12v / 240v inverter in their car or setup either so … Anyone with a 12v battery can use this one so sure it may be a smidgen dearer than a 240v household one, however you pay for convenience. Look at the crap they sell at McDonalds … you wouldn’t eat it at a dine In restaurant however people buy the garbage for the drive through window convenience so 🤷♂️ horses for courses mate
I wonder how a dog's eye or sausage rolls wud do in one of those ?
