The charm of Japanese local town is really something. I can really feel the calmness of the area while watching the videos. Hope i can visit them in the future... Thanks for this nice video!
This video was uploaded at such perfect timing when I'm currently working but also recovering from being unwell 🤍🤍 I've decided I need to travel to Japan at one point in my life, just so I can get away from everything and enjoy the serenity that Japan holds. The way you captured the mountains, the bridge, and town... 👏🏼 Thank you Ryo, for your hard work on sharing another beautiful video. Your videos feel like they're from a fairytale and a place for me to escape momentarily to find some peace. 🙏🏻 Take care of yourself, and I can't wait for more of your videos in the future.
It's always a pleasant surprise when a new SorekaraMelancholy (remember than name?) video appears in my feed. It's got everything I love about your content: nice camera work and drone shots, great music and a slow almost pensive pace. I'm actually visiting Japan (finally!) in two weeks time and I've booked a nice ryokan in Hakone, another onsen town. Not sure what it's like relaxing in a hot spring in warm spring weather but I'm eager to find out.
Your videos produce so many things for me, I could spend hours watching them without getting tired, it is a mixture of peace and melancholy that makes my heart happy. Japan is an absolutely wonderful country.
These videos of yours makes me return to your channel every once and twice a month i enjoy every video of yours and wish i get to travel in all of these places you have shown us they are beitifull 😍please keep uploading such videos
So well done... and you make me laugh... "couples who want to create memories".... ! It is good to see these places, but I worry that they are dying out... so few young people around.
Ahhh, this already brings back memories! I went for the first time to Japan in January, and seeing old onsen towns and Kanazawa was really a great experience :)
Always love the atmosphere you bring to your videos! It always astonish me how photogenic Japan as a country seems to be - from the bustling city to the idyllic countryside. As always another great video!
Dude where were you ...! After a long days it's a best gift videos I seen . What a place dude . It's almost like a watching a movie .you gave best details . Don't wait us this long for another new video with exciting and exploring city or village any thing is pleasurable to watch your videos 🎉. Keep exploring and have a good time and health . Arigato 🙏.
I really liked this place when I went a few years ago. There’s just something special about the old trains, quiet train stations and tiny little onsen town in the middle of the mountains
I really needed the feeling of serenity that only your videos can inspire today. I can go on with my day much happier now, thank you! It also made me look forward to appreciating much smaller things on my own travels :)
This is so therapeutic. I was actually in Japan last year around November. I spent two weeks there, travelled to Tokyo,Osaka,Kyoto and Fukuoka. Next time I'd like to stay longer and go to rural areas, take more train trips and just enjoy the atmosphere anywhere I go. I need to see more of the quiet life. Please upload more vids and thank you!
Yeah but to be fair I went on a weekday during an unpopular season, which is one of the reasons it looks dead. btw Your comment played perfectly in my mind in Trump's voice. lol
Hey there, hope you are doing well! I remember very clearly when I came across your channel in early 2021, it really felt as if I had discovered a hidden gem and used to be so happy whenever you posted a new video; the thing I loved the most was the tune that played in the beginning along with the scribble "Sorekara Melancholy". Sadly, life got in the way, and I couldn't keep up with your channel, and now more than 2 years later, at 2 AM in the night, I suddenly remembered about your channel and just binged all the videos again. I was transported back to the good days of 2021, and I really was able to remember the things I felt back then, I thank you for this. Also, I noticed you have privated/removed some of your videos and changed your channel name, I know you must have your own reasons for doing this, but I sure do wish I could watch those videos again. Your filming style truly is fantastic and every time I watch your videos I feel this immense feeling of nostalgia or 'melancholy' (if you will) for a place that I've never even been to before! Even if it isn't regular, I hope you keep on uploading your absolutely amazing work and I will always be there supporting you! Once again, thank you very much for your stuff!
The rural towns have a special charm. I visited Takayama and Nagiso area 2 weeks ago. Won't trade them with the crowded touristy places. Next time I like to explore Nagano.
I love onsen towns, I've really only been to the noboribetsu, kusatsu and Gero onsens though, I did go through Kanazawa though, the gardens are beautiful there. Now I want to go back to Japan again watching this. I always want to go back to Japan though.
Ryo-san you never know how much you helped shaped my videography style. 🙏 Finally this year my channel is going live. Though youtube journey is so desperate some time, seeing your videos remind me I should not give up that soon. P/S: Your videos always bring peace to my soul.
It was my dream to travel to Japan - not Tokyo but inner towns to see with my own eyes all that I’d read about. I am a great admirer of Japanese arts and literature (albeit in translation) and am totally fascinated by the Japanese perspective. I watch Japanese shows all the time and seek out Japanese films in international film festivals. This town that you have videoed for us seems magical. The surrounding mountains remind me of the lower Himalayas in India. The hot springs!!! Is that for the general public? I fear I would not get a chance to see all this mainly because I can no longer walk great distances and Japan seems to require a lot of walking. I love your channel and always look forward to seeing what you have recorded for us. 🙏
Glad I watched again you therapeutic cinematography its been a while 😊 guess been quite busy lately. Anyways I hope you will reupload your old videos here they are very relaxing to watch though, thats one of the reason I that got interested in your videos ☺️ More Power 💪🏻

Hi りょ, I hope it's ok that I write your name like that. I discovered your channel just a couple days ago while searching for content related to Japan. I just started learning japanese a week ago (so far I've almost mastered hiragana of which I'm kinda proud 😁 seems like a good start) and I'm looking for youtube channels to learn more about japanese things besides the language. Your videos are amazing! They calm me down and I feel really immersed in this magical world that you show us. I also really enjoy the idea of limiting yourself to the subtitles. I think that the lack of talking makes it that the video leaves more space for imagination and your own thoughts. I hope you continue to give us that beautiful content, keep it up and all the best wishes from Poland ❤️
Hi! Thank you for watching and for your interest in Japan! Learning a foreign language is a lot of work, but what you get out of it is much greater. がんばって! p.s Ryo in hiragana is りょう : )
Dude!, I missed so much your videos, I'm glad you uploaded again and I take this opportunity to ask for the request of the books that you recommend reading please!

"Somehow, Crystal" by Tanaka Yasuo He has mentioned a book (not Japanese) that had a profound effect on him. I will also share. "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka

It's been a while! Your channel has truly grown in the time I couldn't watch your videos. First of all, thank you for your hard work! I've just come back from an onsen trip down in Arima Onsen (Kobe) and it was definitely the best way to say goodbye to winter! Very excited for spring and the cherry blossoms blooming right now :)
You should check out Yuwaku Onsen next time you're in Ishikawa Prefecture and also the anime "はな咲くいろは". The anime is based around Yuwaku and the town even recreated a festival that didn't exist until the anime called the "Bonbori festival".
I live in the US but would love to visit Japan. What would you recommend for a first trip between visiting for the Sakura in Spring or visiting an Onsen in Winter?
Hmmmmm, If you are coming to Japan for the first time, you will probably encounter some troubles as well as some fun (not only in Japan though). In that regard, cherry blossoms are literally everywhere in Japan in spring, whether in Tokyo or Kyoto, and are easily accessible. It will make your trip a good and easy one.
@@sorekaratravel4533 Excellent :) I don’t doubt there will be some culture shock, but I’m open enough to experience somewhere totally different from what I’m used to.
I love the athmosphere in japan countryside, but seriously, where are the people? Especially the kids, where are they? It's so strange for me that it's so quite there
Hello. Happy to once again view your quietly and very enjoyable video. I look forward to the next.
