I will have to say, Mark, you are one of the BEST efficient reviewers of clubs for me because of your almost robot qualities. I hope you are able to continue bringing these videos to us to watch as they are very interesting in how efficient you have become with teaching and testing!! Well Done 👍
JEFF!!!!! OK... small world.. Jeff and his lovely family were in our Mommy, Daddy & Me class when we lived in Los Angeles. Awesome guy, I was always jelly he got to see all of the cool new golf stuff :D Glad you got to go have a chat with him and the Srixon crew in LA!!
Great review. Your reviews always make the most sense of what you’re actually getting whether it’s true gains or just something new. I’ve made several changes to how I approach what’s in my bag based on watching your content over the years and play clubs I never thought I would use 7-10 years ago to include my Cleveland chipper I have fun with at times. I’m still a 6 hcp, but it feels easier to play to my hcp than it used to which just makes playing more fun.
Would love to see a comparison versus the MK1 versions - hoping there isn't a huge difference given how much I love my ZX7..... Impressive consistency in your driving at the new speed - well done. 👏🏽
You are not a robot but you do get the bat on the ball. I have seen you and Coach suffering a little after overindulging. Something a robot never does.😂 Happy New Year 🥳
So i have been playing Ping sf tec 10.5 with alta reg 55 shaft, just ordered srixon zx5 with riptide 50 shaft, hope it will give me a little more distance .
I have a ZX7 driver and ZX 3 wood and i love them. So much i'm ditching the Cobra 3H that i constantly duff and have ordered a new ZX mk2 7 Wood. Are you going to have a video with the fairway woods? I've found srixon woods are gorgeous looking and the most forgiving of all the ones i hit.
Mark throwing shade at the bot lol. Hey... when ya can, ya do. Better watch out, srixon may have him on the main staff chained down in the test bay pretty soon.
Please tell me you'll be doing a comparison between the new Srixon drivers and the previous gen. I tried both the ZX5 and ZX7 and while they were great drivers I just didn't enjoy the somewhat loud sound they put off. Also love that these have a more matte finish to the crown!
Mark you are definitely a robot! These new drivers look great! I was curious about the difference in forgiveness between the zx7 and the zx5LS. Is it noticeable ? Thanks
Wish I could find streaks on more in the big box stores, like Golf Galaxy especially the irons. I have people that play them years ago and they love them. Just wish I had more opportunity to try them out. Specially tha forged ones.
I bought a set of ZX5 irons with the 90 day playback from PGA Super Store and love them. Hitting darts. Nearest store is around 2 hours away so glad I like them but by researching I had a feeling they would work out. Gonna do the same for a Driver. Never been fitted because I fall in your normal range of golfer and not much for fitters near me anyway.
I thought the prior generation that you gamed looked a little budget/package-set-y (that's a word right?). But these look premium, and they also look pretty.
You’re definitely a robot mark. Some good consistent ball speeds there, look forward to the day you finally smash the 170 barrier. Did you see much improvement compared to the last model or is that for another video?
Nice looking clubs. Tried the previous model during a fit and liked them however, Rogue ST pipped them. Srixon make great clubs. Drivers and fairways are good, hybrids are excellent, irons are fantastic and then they have Cleveland wedges. (Not to mention balls) What’s not to like. Must be frustrating for the brand that they can’t make a dent into TM / Titleist / Callaway volumes or are they happy in the space they occupy? (Bit like Mizuno)
Very interesting video. Why did the robot struggle to get the spin up on the LS? I assume it had to be spin loft. Was it difficult to make it hit more up and/or reduce the loft? Can the robot even change loft dynamically like human can. I guess it has no wrists. What the engineer do to try and get the spin up?
Hi Mark, Unrelated, But i have seen you tee off of here a few times. Just wondering if there is a local rule about those powerlines ? If you hit them with your tee shot, is it a free go, or are you just really unlucky and play on ? Not sure if they are actually in play, but kind of looks like it on the tracer.
hmmm no comparison against the old model? Is that because it’s not good for srixon sale? would also be interesting to see the robot hit 3 or 4 and see the difference
It would be really fun to see you go back to your SLDR, or your Callaway epic when you were averaging 262 to see how much of the gains are from your driver and how much are from your own speed and swing mechanic changes.
Look soooooo much better than those Callaway drivers that just came out. Anxious to test these out. Big fan of Srixon irons and wouldn't mind gaming their woods as well.
Very good video however, yourself and most other reviewers do something that annoys me you are testing a driver with an extra stiff shaft, swinging well over 100 miles an hour. I would really love to see those models on the iron Byron with a regular or senior flex shaft, swinging at between 80 and 90 miles an hour. The reviews might be very different remembering most golfers do not swing a driver much more than 90 miles an hour.
I wonder if engineers could design a driver that would conform to the R&A-USGA distance standard but give a ball speed boost to golfers who swing at 90 MPH.
If you boost ball speed at any club head speed, you're boosting it at all club head speeds. The middle of drivers have been maxed out for years in terms of the ball speed they can produce for a given club head speed, so making them any faster would make them non-conforming. The challenge is to make the faces faster for off-center hits, which is where gains are being made.
The robot matched my ball speeds. If you slice with the same ball speed but then launch it a 100 degrees it will NOT be the same. We matched ball speed. Maybe watch again. 👍
Wasn’t going to watch as Srixon but glad I did. Put the low spin in the bag with an expensive after market shaft for 23 and track performance. Let the data do the talking. You didn’t compare current with new - what are the gains with new over old? ahhh the good old days of 262 are long gone and all about beating Coach with his new Paradyn driver
Mark, maybe a petty question, but why do you always show the clubs you’re testing when they are all covered in grass and/or dirt? Just wondering why you do that. Love the videos anyway ✌️
I used to try and mimic the action of a robot golf swing and it was an absolute disaster. It makes you realise how constant Mark's golf swing is when a human has so many more moving elements than the robot. I ben it never buys a round at the 19th either!
@Mark. Do you roll new clubs in the wet grass and let coach eat cookies and put fingerprints all over them before every shoot? Man those are dirty new drivers. :)
Shouldn’t you be comparing your club head speed not ball speed to the robot. By jumping to ball speed you are already taking into account the efficiency of impact. What club head speed did the robot need to get a ball speed of 166? The rest is simple maths. Ball speed + spin + att angle = distance??? Or do I have it all wrong.
The robot guy wasn’t comfortable was he 🤣🤣 very protective of his machine. Great video Mark
Protecting his child

LOVE my srixon Zx7, tested against all the other major brands in the hitting bay and it blew them away by a mile. Excited to try the new gen's.
Thank you. Love the in-depth look at your swing and the robot.

Fantastic video, really interesting to watch, especially as someone that works in robotics!
Great video Mark! I was able to demo them over the weekend and will be further testing them out for my upcoming fitting. Thanks
Great review and awesome that you are on the course. Crazy playing against a robot :-)
Excellent review. I can't wait to get my hands on these in a fitting bay.
The last model 2 hybrid is fantastic from the tee. I will be getting the new 7 wood for the deck, possibly the 4 hybrid as well for the deck.
Want to try these. Just hit the old Zx5 driver and loved it
only thing left is -- do the robot dance Mark !
Happy New Year
Cheers from Norcal
Would love to see a comparison versus the MK1 versions - hoping there isn't a huge difference given how much I love my ZX7.....
Impressive consistency in your driving at the new speed - well done. 👏🏽
LOL… Absolutely awesome. Love this partnership Mark! #270. Come on!!!
Loved my Z785. Looking forward to these ...
Mark CrossBot.....you have proved your worth without a doubt
Would really enjoy watching you you getting a diverse mix of handicap golfers and have them test, and see their numbers…!
Been watching you for a good few years mark , so that robot better bring his A game 😄
Love the robot tests. Nice to see the robot can do some of them out of the car lockey left dippers to 🤣
Great looking drivers appreciate the reviews 👍
I have the Z785 driver and love it. Not sure if I’m ready to give it up for the new ZX7 model .
Look at you Mark !!! 💥💪💪. #262. 290 carry now almost !
#massive #lookoutMartin #Berkshire #Bryson #longerthanCoachnow ?
Robot tested is very interesting. Especially if you compare ZX5 LS against TSR4, Aerojet LS, G430 LST, and Tour Edge C723
The best way review drive ever, period.
You are not a robot but you do get the bat on the ball. I have seen you and Coach suffering a little after overindulging. Something a robot never does.😂 Happy New Year 🥳
Defo robot Mark. Practice equals consistency I guess 👍🏻
So i have been playing Ping sf tec 10.5 with alta reg 55 shaft, just ordered srixon zx5 with riptide 50 shaft, hope it will give me a little more distance .
Question, does the connector is exactly the same with previous ZX 7 and ZX 5 ? Looking to see whether I can just get head only
It’s the same 👍
@@MarkCrossfield awesome, cheers.

That was a win, you matched the robot all the way but the robot had better pins than coach lol
Mark throwing shade at the bot lol. Hey... when ya can, ya do. Better watch out, srixon may have him on the main staff chained down in the test bay pretty soon.
Great club review. It would be great to see all the different club brands hit by the same robot. I’m sure would be very telling indeed.
What is the name of the golf course you tested the clubs at?
Great review. The only model I would play would be a ZX7 LS. But they chose not to make the more tour head style in a low spin version. Sigh
Peaked my interest in the new Srixon drivers. I really need new hybrids, but who knows, I may have to sacrifice those for a possible new driver.
Please tell me you'll be doing a comparison between the new Srixon drivers and the previous gen. I tried both the ZX5 and ZX7 and while they were great drivers I just didn't enjoy the somewhat loud sound they put off. Also love that these have a more matte finish to the crown!
More Matt finish for sure. I will get on it. Not much change I see. The LS obvs new and different.
Great looking club's
I applaud you for being first to do this 👏👏👏
Interesting video. Out of interest what dispersion did the robot have? I assume it's not zero SD due to ball variations etc.
Well done mark it's a company that iv never tried 👏 👍
Mark you are definitely a robot! These new drivers look great! I was curious about the difference in forgiveness between the zx7 and the zx5LS. Is it noticeable ? Thanks
Would the ZX5 fit a slower speed swinger or should I look elsewhere?

I wish I had your robot swing Mark.
Guy Canada 🇨🇦
Thanks for vid
Launch monitor Queens rarely work on the golf course. Spin is your friend
Just waiting for my fitter to get the LS version and I'll be in the net.
I thought the prior generation that you gamed looked a little budget/package-set-y (that's a word right?).

Hi Mark. Love the channel. Where did the carbon go?
You’re definitely a robot mark. Some good consistent ball speeds there, look forward to the day you finally smash the 170 barrier. Did you see much improvement compared to the last model or is that for another video?
Lovely clubs
Nice job
Haha...great video!!!
Often think Srixon and Mizuno drivers fly a bit under the radar compared to the mainstream brands.
Interesting career change for Ronaldo
Nice looking clubs. Tried the previous model during a fit and liked them however, Rogue ST pipped them. Srixon make great clubs. Drivers and fairways are good, hybrids are excellent, irons are fantastic and then they have Cleveland wedges. (Not to mention balls) What’s not to like.

They're happy enough - they make the bulk from their $ from balls, unlike Mizuno.

Too good
What shaft are you using Mark?
A light one.
Shaftoid alert
@@MarkCrossfield well thank you. I will make sure not to ask questions or comment in the future. Have a great day
@@ryang1910 if you followed Mark for a while he doesn't delve deep into shafts, besides what he's using may not work for you, go get fitted properly.
Man, i want a driver fitting haha
Mark when are you gonna start uploading 4K vids?
strange standard deviation on the LS
Finally!!! An English man that says titanium properly 😁
Next time see how fast they’ll crank it up!
You are definitely a robot 🤖

I can do old v new if you want. Not much in it apart from LS obvs. If you have the old it’s a good club.
Using the original zx7 but would love to see same shaft comparison of the zx7 against the new 7 and zx5 ls.
I have the feeling we are not watching a club test but the test of the human robot called mark
And a draw is a win…. Did not hear that for a while
i guess mark is more robot than the robot
😂😂
What ever happened to 262?! You’ve had some MAJOR gains!

Muppet versus Robot ! Sounds like the plot of a Jim Henson movie from the 80s....
How about start posting some 18 hole scores
Filmed at the start of November... Shows that the pros will test these new clubs for months before the general public will see them
Tour 1st then “media” then the public is the general patterns for launch.
What happened to the short lived callaway video? Released to early?
Saw that one too. 😁
Ooh!! I musta missed that, looking forward to it lol
He released it too early!
Yer said it was private
Yeah I watched it and went to write a comment at the end, but it wouldn’t let me……at least I got to watch it I guess
Where’s the slow paradigm review? :)
It’s coming back at 11pm. I got my am pm mixed up.

He doesn't care, he films one take and uses that. It's how "real" is so a lot of real golfers like that style.
We may have to start calling you Tobor, the Muppet.
I'm going to guess the robot had only 5% less dispersion than the human robot Mr C.
Im happy to see no carbon. We get crap information how carbon is the way to go and its making no difference at all.
It’s funny isn’t it.
Carbon to save a fraction of weight but then add a load of weights back in and hot glue for tour players. Blows my mind
mark v robot, how do we know which one is which?🤔
The robot is prettier!
I’m expecting in future to see a lump of dog shit on the bottom of one of the clubs 😂

once a robot is bought into the game the human content is useless. the robot takes control.
