Bibi! You are a life saver! I was struggling with my glimmer plate and searching for help on RUclips. Your tutorial was the absolute best! My foils came out almost perfect using your method! Thank you so much.
Hello, Bibi....my dear, I seriously don't know what to say to you anymore as everything you create is just so beautiful! You are such an inspiration and a wonderful educator. That means a lot to this ole woman LOL! Thanks, my dear!
Bibi, I can't believe I am just now finding your videos! This was super! Great projects, great tips. I love your enthusiasm! Thanks for the great video!
Hola!! me encanta tu acento, creo que te entiendo mejor con él 🤗, y lo mejor de todo es que puedo dejarte comentarios en español. Me encantó tu trabajo
What beautiful projects! I think I just learned the tip I needed. I didn’t know you could use tape on the hot foil dies and foil. I’ve been struggling with placement, and now I have a solution! Thank you!
Oh my goodness, Bibi. These projects are just stunning! I love everything you do anyway but this one is probably one of my favourites. Simply gorgeous!
You make it look so easy. I have found that all low tack tapes do not work well with the heat of the foil machine. Any suggestions. Your project as are all very lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Hello. Hmm 🤔 I’m not sure what could be wrong . Can you be more specific or give me more details? I even use washi tapes or anything low tack and I don’t have any problem (The tape can get damage tho) When you place the plates over the foil and the paper all these items are cold so the tape will hold everything while hot foiling . ❤️.
Although toner sheets provide a foiled look and feel sheets, they only adhere to toner so I don't think they will work with gimmer plates. To work with them you need to apply a different technique. Hugs.
Hello, thanks for letting me know . This might be because the kit is not available any longer . I’ll check which products from the kit are and update the links ASAP. X
It says it takes 30 seconds to 1 minute for my glimmer hot foil machine to heat up, mine takes like 5 minutes, also it seems like every time I foil something no matter how careful I am my finished product looks like crap, & yes I cut off the extra foil around my die, it's very irritating.
oh nooo!! if it helps, I have been there but with a bit of practice and patience I got it done and now I love it. Don't get discouraged. Learning takes a little bit of time and resources. When you first connect the machine it takes longer to heat up maybe 5 minutes or so. Once your machine is hot, after this and when you press "timmer" then it takes about 1 minute to heat up the plates, you need to put it back in the platform straight away after foiling to keep the heat ( if the machine doesn't work like that I would advise calling Spellbinders to get support and maybe a replacement). To avoid over foiling and to get nicely foiled images I do as mentioned in this video. I do not add any extra shim of paper as if you add pressure to the machine you will get foil everywhere. I use low tack tape to secure the foil to the paper and then the same tape to secure the plates over the foil. We have to avoid the plates to move to get a very nice foiled image. stay in touch and let me know if you could get it done. x
@@BibiCameron Thank you so much, I wasn't sure if you could put tape to keep it from slipping all over. You bet I'll keep in touch, I know I'm going to need more help! Lol

So good . Thank you . This is a tip form Yana Samakula is very effective and you will get better foiled images as the plates won’t move :)
