This is a slick car! Recently restored, a folder of receipts are included. Documented with a Marti Report, this is 1 of 731 black Torinos made, only 137 with this interior. Full of sporty options.
EXTERIOR: Rare factory black car. A Starsky stripe decal was added for some eye popping good looks. The body was stripped, 1/4 panels were replaced. The paint job is recent. It is polished to a smooth, glossy finish. The bumpers were rechromed, headlight bezels replaced. Weatherstrips were replaced. It also has vintage polished slotted mags and new BFG tires, wider in back, to complete the Starsky look.
INTERIOR: It has a sporty bucket seat interior with the center console floor shifter. Overall very good shape. The upholstery looks real good. New door panels and side rear panels from Dearborn Originals. The headliner was replaced. The dash area is very good, not cut up or broken. There is a new circuit board behind the dash, the optional clock is rebuilt. It even has an Am-Fm 8-track stereo, new door speakers.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor compartment is clean and proper. Great running 351. Has stock manifolds, valve covers and air cleaner. The air conditioning was serviced: condenser was replaced, evaporator was rebuilt, hoses were replaced. New radiator distributor, alternator and carburetor. The battery is bolted down properly, has hood insulation, washer bottle, fan shroud etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid trunk painted black. Under the trunk lid is glossy. Weatherstrip and mat were replaced.
UNDERSIDE: It has optional H.D. suspension with swaybars. The front end was rebuilt with a complete kit from Kanter. Also new drag link, tie rod, pitman arm, idler arm and steering gear. In back the springs and coil over shocks were replaced. The fuel sending unit and fuel tank were replaced. Brake, fuel and trans lines are new. New dual exhaust with welded joints. Brakes were redone, has disc in front. Looking up at the motor it is clean, new starter and fuel pump. Rebuilt C-4 automatic with a new 12 inch converter. It has optional traction lock rear end.
This car is a lot of bang for the buck! It will turn heads for sure. It's nostalgic, unique and very well restored.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

74-76 Gran Torinos......one of best body styles EVER! Paul Michael Glaser, David Soul and Huggy Bear would all approve!
I doubt it, they actually wanted a camaro on the show but didn’t get it.
Classic - we all wanted a Starsky and Hutch car!
I still want one! Only the red and white version. This one above is cool too, but I prefer the TV car better.
LOL, NO
The white stripe is not TV correct at the rear between the small window the stripe is angled it should have a more rounded curve at the lower part plus no over riders on front n rear bumpers
@@Tiffany.1970 you're clueless yet posted. it's correct depending on what season 3 different stripes were used.. go research
@@thebob01absolutely
That Torino is stunning
i had a 75 gran torino Sport 351C 4V - had a fender bender, when i repainted it the stock black i added the starsky stripe in Red to match the black/red interior.
Stunning but it looks so much better in red.
Sold fast! I knew it would. Very nice Torino 👍
Absolutely awesome car
If only Starsky & Hutch was filmed in black and white.
Never knew they made them in black and white. Looks cool, but I'd rather have the red.
I suppose it was painted by the owner that way.
That is a sweet machine!
Very nice 👌
WAOO BEUTIFULL CARS 🙏👍😍♥️💎
yea, but its not red
And This is My Favorite Car
And i Would Love To Have This Car
"Get Off My Lawn" From Clint Eastwood in the Movie, Gran Torino.
That was an older model. Great movie though
@@rovervitesse1985 older and much nicer
@@rovervitesse1985 correct
Never seen a black one! What was the asking price?
It is remarkable to even see a Torino today, especially a nice one. If these weren't wrecked within the first 5 years they rusted away.
When I saw this video come up in my feed I thought of Clint Eastwood yelling at his neighbor's son LOL.
Nice car but I'd feel stupid driving it bc it's not red.
How can I purchase this Ford Torino
This is actually quite cool in that tuxedo black
cual es el valor de ford torino rojo
Sold already
How much ?
Yes this car is from My favorite movie gran torino, with super star Clint eastwod, wow wow absolutly powerfull and inside absolut gourgeus 😎 cool car thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊
The gran torino movie the are green and don't have the white lines on the sizes so this is not the car from the movie...if you see some of the fast and the furious..there are the same car from gran torino movie.
😂 Wrong totally different year and color
Gran Torino movie was a 72 Gran Torino Sport Fastback, the sport fastback was dropped after 73 model.
@@ronaldnorris2179 thanks for your feedback, and Merry Christmas
I was expecting a hot rodded engine? Still 1976 was the last year for the Torino which is a much nicer car than the LTD2 which replaced it in 1977.
❤❤❤❤❤
And i Would Like To Recommend Rolling Back The Miles Some More On This One To Save On The Engines Time And i Want This One
But is not a limited edition S and H Gran Torino.
Reminds me of starsky and hutch
Starky and hutch👍
Buyer one week later; What the heck was I smoking.
Except theirs was red
Has to be red
Why's it black
We will never know how much it sold for when you take the price down.
@@RCH45ACP Probably sells for price or 10-20% less?
Echo and Me: Friends Movie (Literature)
stripe not rite
No offense, but if it ain't red it's not a true Starsky & Hutch car...It wasn't called the "Striped Tomato" for nothing...Purchasing this car in black would be like buying a Smokey & The Bandit Trans Am in purple...🤔
exactly it looks as dumb as can be.. what's the point
And A Classic Car Would Never Rust Through if it Were Rust Proof Correctly
You sure do have some nice cars, but I fear your prospective clientele doesn't watch utube. Most are more than my mortgage.
The videos are also embedded on our website under each vehicle page. And you'd be surprised how many people have found us from RUclips and bought cars.
That White Stripe is a bit too loud for my tastes and it affects the look of the Car Lines.
I hate that.
I would not have a problem driving that car it is nice I like the stripe!
@@donselke9487 Looks little bit like pyjama .
@@Batman-wv5ng I have owned 8 Torino's in my lifetime like that but Red , I have seen dark Blue ones with the stripe also its been a strange love affair since 1975 can't explain it.
Why though..
Why what?..
@@VoloMuseumAutoSales obviously..black looks beyond stupid
