034Motorsport PCV Valve replacement for Audi/VW 1.8T engines

- Hey all!
This video shows 034Motorsports replacement parts for changing out your PCV valve and T-fitting. It is a good replacement for the OEM-parts since they usually fail. These parts are made out of silicone and CNCed aluminium so they will probably last the life of the car.
I am showing you on a Audi A4 B6 from 2003 with a 1.8T engine (code BFB).
Be sure to be on the lookout for comming videos where i replace the plastic 90 degree hose from the engineblock with another 034Motorsports item and AN-fittings.
PS: I keep mixing up PCV and PVC.... Positive Crankcase Ventilation... get it right!!
Please note: I am not a mechanic. If you dont know what you are doing, do not attempt this.

This "crappy solution" PCV valve works fine for about 15 years so I wouldn't say it's crappy. You want to drive more than 15 years and that's why you claim metal one is better ? What about pressure of opening in this metal one ? Is it same like in OEM ? In my opinion this "tuning" You done is "crappy solution" - not the OEM PCV valve... In europe this PCV cost 10-11 euro not 30. Best regards.

@@wesathetechnician då är det nog inte exakt samma, jag ringde Audi och frågade efter original nr och sprängskiss på slangarna, sen jämförde jag med min vilka som behövdes och sen beställde jag från AUTODOC

Told can get away with just removing the coolant container.
@@andysmith9065 if you got ridicuals tiny hands you can still quicker to remove intake manifold its really easy plus u have plenty of room

jag får oljelukt i coupen när motorn är varm. Är det detta som gör att det luktar ? Finns inga läckage
Det är mycket möjligt. Undersök även om det är läckage från topplockspackningen ner på turbon. Det hade jag
@@KarlMarklund topplockspackningen är bytt så där läcker det inte. Har samma motorkod som du

When that valve fails you get that bad bearing squeak noise right?
Jorge Rivera you get a rough idle, smooth when driving but horrible when stopped and at idle

Great silicone T but the metal PCV does not function they way it should. Go OEM plastic.
must be the same on all 1.8t motors my 97 AEB has the same valve i just replaced it
the difference is in the pipe the comes off it
