I just found this video searching for tips on rebound 25 silicon.
Very nice sculpt.
Hello, thanks for the video, but can you please send me a link for the power mesh? I need a few yards
Excellent video! So nice to see people who take the time to explain all the details rather than videos who 'assume you know' all this stuff. This will be very helpful to me and tons of other folks. Keep it up!
I'm using Rebound 25 for the first time to make my first mold, and this video was INCREDIBLY HELPFUL!! Thank you so much!!
using mineral spirit, you can clean your brush from uncured silicone and reuse it.
You are amazing
Is there a way to thinking this silicon
Try Smooth on Dragon Skin 20 Med. Very stretchable and durable. I sue i.e. and cast many concrete casts from it. Love to see a vid of you using it. Thanks for your time.
Dragon skin is great, a friend of mine @revchumley made an Early Cuyler mask out of it. ruclips.net/video/Fg9fSjXtKRg/видео.html
Nice videos. Can this be done successfully without thi-vex?
Thanks in advance.
You can it will just take a while, because the layers will be thin. Thivex just thickens the silicone so you don’t have to do as many thin layers.
@@Cullens_Workshop thank you.
❤❤it🎉😊😊
and also can u please send me a link to where i can get the power mesh
theengineerguy.com/power-mesh/ this is where I get mine. I think a lot of fabric stores also carry it, so it might be worth checking your local stores for too!
The power mesh ? Could it be any 4 way power mesh?
yes!
Do you know of a more economical brush on type rubber ?
Mold Max Stroke is one. It's a tin cure silicone, made by smooth-on as well. It's also measured out by weight so you'll want a scale for best results. But it's about half the price of a platinum silicone like rebound. theengineerguy.com/mold-max-stroke/
Your method of the hard shell is so much easier to understand do for a newbie, also all your vids on monster clay are awesome, just curious if you could do painting vids or of the finished products?
I do have a painting basics planned. Was there something specific you were looking for?
@@Cullens_Workshop nothing in mind just anything to do with seeing you finish off some of your casts maybe 👌🏻
hello i love this video you give so much information thanks for sharing grate job
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the amazing vid. What grade of power mesh do you use?
Fanatics walk thru of your process! Thanks for throwing this together for all of us. You’re one of my go-to channels when I need to see how something is executed that I’m struggling with. Cheers 🤘🏼
how do you clean the brush ??
Just throw it away. It’s a cheap chip brush. amzn.to/3jn010h
Excellent video. Thank you for your attention to detail in how you explain things. It's really well-shot and you are very specific in your explanations. I really appreciate the care that you put into this. Subscribed.
Great video. Looks like that power mesh cuts down on the amount of rubber to make the mold?
Sir please tell us about the sculpture mold And what material is used in it? Will it be available on Amazon India?
you premix the molding material! you sir are my hero! Saw this piece when touring the Smooth -On facility, nicely done.
You're welcome! It's been bouncing around with the booth at cons, so it's cool to know where it's at now.
Really enjoyed your vid - great coverage and very helpful. Can I ask what the durability has been like of Rebound 25 and do you have any experience with Mold Max 30? Thanks
So mold max is a pourable silicone and wouldn’t be ideal for a the first couple layers of a brush on application.
It’s also tin cured compared to mold Star which is platinum cured.
It’s still a great product, and very helpful in making poured molds.

@@Cullens_Workshop Great, thanks very much for your help with that!
I saw a render of this on ig not long ago, looks insane.
I love it. You're so good, your video is helping me with my new proyect, thanks a lot!!
Glad you liked the video! If you have any questions s feel free to ask!
Hi can you tell me where to get power mesh? Is it used for other things or specific to casting?
i'm pretty sure you can find it at most online fabric stores. www.fabric.com/buy/0450613/power-mesh-black. Out of convenience I get mine from engineer guy here in Atlanta when i'm buying silicone. theengineerguy.com/power-mesh/
I can not find smooth on in germany. Would you know a similar brand?
I took a look, and there is a dealer in germany! www.kaupo.de/shop it's in Spraichingen
try : www.theengineerguy.com
Really cool sculpt!
Thanks!
