Can you teach lead guitar fills aswell in your coming lessons together with teaching the chords and solos please?
Also, any tips for trying to transcribe lead guitar? I wanna play some Oasis songs with my brother (he is 16 and I've thought him to play okay rythm guitar) but there's literally no correct tabs or lessons online and I've only managed to successfully learn Stand by me, Supersonic and Live forever all lead guitar parts by listening to the songs and seeing guitar covers. But it has taken me lots of time. I'm 14 currently and I don't have a teacher and I'm an okay guitarist (though i don't really shread). Tips would be really appreciated. Also should I get myself a band? I know a guy who can play a little bit of drums, I play okay lead guitar, my brother plays decent rythm guitar but I don't know any bassists my age and I don't know anyone who can sing and would be willing to. I'd be willing to take any advice you can give me.

What to do when one has motivation and joy to play guitar? Tired of doing techinque exercises etc.
Try learning songs that incorporate techniques you're not entirely confident with to develop said techniques.
If you get tired of doing the same exercises, get a drum beat on youtube and play along with it. Have fun.
Join a band
write some music, its the best way to express your own creativity
I just went through that :( it sucks. I would go look at new bands or artists you never heard of and see if you like a song to learn. Like the other person said in the comments above I practice also by using songs that have technique I need to work at (solos with bends and vibrato, pull offs, etc) if you know someone who plays guitar, drums, bass or whatever jam with them and learn from each other. It's awesome.
