Does the charger come with, or have to buy in addition?

The problem is you're not measuring voltage at the terminal, you're measuring it past the lug....so 160A over a short distance will show a lower voltage

Thanks for the reply. The meter probes were shoved under the shrink tube for convenience. The difference between the actual lung and the terminal would be negligible. It had good contact. Even at a slightly lower reading its amazing how well the voltage holds up. On a lead acid it would have been much lower.

I’d question an app that says the batter is at 100% when the charger is still putting out it’s max current. Something is not right

Its not the app. The app just reports the info the battery sends it. In this case the SOC meter is just a counter. SOC meters are rarely perfect and can get out of whack for a number of reasons. One way to calibrate the soc meter is to regularly bring it tò a full charge as dictated by the charger or BMS max settings. Soc cant go past 100. So once the battery is actually full...the full battery and soc meter are synced. Its important to do thisvregularly. If you spend long periods in a mid range your soc meter will become innacurate and you must fully charge to resynch.

The battery was no with like 1 cycle, the percentage shown needs a few cycles to get straight

I did some research and mosfets seem to be able to operate upwards of 300 to 350F max. I am betting a few more degrees and it probably would have shut down. Ben Stein over at PANBO did a similar test but also applied a heat gun to the terminal. It shut down a little over 200 degrees.

@Spayrex probably some difficult Hazmat regulations. You can see if Roypow delivers there. Roypow basically has the same battery but its blue and cost just a bit more. Will Prowse did a teardown video of one.
