hi there, There is a good Dentist in Ban Phe, also a shop called Petra in Ban Phe where you can get your Falang frozen food and lots of other stuff its a big shop, freshly baked bread, pasties meat pies etc., real ham, its near Macro before the big police offices, its worth a look, just a note to be aware of, Salang's are illegal in Thailand but it is one of those laws that is over looked but if a car or truck hits you there insurance will not pay you out, some police officers will pull you up being a Falang and fine you for not wearing a helmet as its still classed as a motorbike, odd days in the week police check points turn up to catch untaxed bikes and Falangs not wearing a helmet normally an on the spot fine of 500 baht, glad to see your settling in down here i built my house 7 years ago here in Ban Phe moved from Pattaya and have loved every minute of it , enjoy your watching videos so keep them coming, stay safe buddy
I just paid over $1,700. for just 2 crowns and 2 foundational cores in America. From now on we Americans should have our dental work done in Thailand!
New sidecar looks really good. 'Lean to' is coming along well - looks very solid. The dentist is obviously a cheaper option than the 'flashier' ones. You have certainly moved on from the desire to hang out in Pattya and becoming more of a home body!

I had some work done at "Your Dentist" on 3rd Road (near the castle....) and was very happy with it.
You can apparently get a tooth crown procedure in England on NHS for about 400 pounds ,but the snag is waiting list up to two years ,but is not available free on NHS ,privately around 700 to 1,200 pounds ,so well done getting it done and so quick,all the best .

Great episode - now Pattaya is a day trip !! Anxious to see what that shelter will look like, those guys seem to know what they're doing. The bike with the sidecar was a genius move, no more sunburn and it offers a little protection from rain, maybe just a light shower. Nice to see you settling in and enjoying being out of the hustle and bustle of Pattaya.

The side car looks great. A very good job was done. The Breakfast looks good, I think I'd like the english Breakfast..The weld is very good does a nice job, and if you do! Try it yourself. good luck. The Dentist is very expensive. I had a crown replaced for 1,500.00 Not worth it, just for a crown. Lan is getting twice as much for a fraction of the cost.. It pays to shop around. Thanks Lucas🙏🙏🙏

I cracked a tooth behind my incisor in the Army. Broke more 2 years after ETS. VA took care, gave me an implant over months. Colleague got 1, just one and it cost them $10,000 out of pocket... $700 for 6 is an absolute steal! The trip to Thailand + stay is cheaper than 1 implant in the USA.

Had beauty perfect zircon crown installed earlier this year on molar 12,000 baht. (Bit over $325) my dentist in Udon- crown lab was BKK. 10 days.
Small world......my wife's brother is still active with the Thai navy down in Sattahip......... good price for the dental work. These days it seems anything to do with dental work regardless of location seems expensive but you did well there. the "crown" sounds like what we would call a partial plate I guess. Cooler is a great idea, have been wanting to get one for ages and keep forgetting until wife decides to go grocery shopping on the way home....luckily just 1/2 hour drive. Still, on a hot day, not good.

Nice sidecar 👍, color combo looks really good with the Honda. I bet every day will seem like vacation riding that around the beach roads 🏝️ I’d get a JBL partybox for it, maybe locked in the separate trunk area ya have. Then you’ll have an instant wireless sound system with about 6 hours of battery life.

Thanks for the update /unveiling of your new saleang. It’s super cool for a local personal transportation choice, but isn’t a scooter/motorcycle with sidecar combo technically illegal in Thailand; not that Thai police care except when being piloted by a farang ;-)

6:55 Regarding the use of aluminum roof panels; your new roof will probably develop leaks due to the different rates of expansion between the steel frame and aluminum roof. The holes around the screws in the roof will become too large for the gaskets on the screws to seal.

@Rides4Kickz Given time to reflect upon my armchair expertise, expansion my not be as much an issue where you live. Here in middle America we have much greater weather and temperature extremes. I had to replace a roof on a shed because the holes around the screws became larger than the heads.

Yes, enough power, it's a low speed vehicle anyway and I've put a larger rear sprocket for a bit more low end torque.

hello for me Australia 6 crowns AUD15000 so the 3000 in Pattaya and a another holiday was an easy choice could not be happier so dont think there is any sub standard about Thai dentistry
Your trike looks fantastic, good colour choices. I don't know how much they would charge for Rans dental treatment in the UK, but it would be close to 4 figures, the dentists get cheap dental education from the country, but don't want NHS work, which is all wrong in my opinion. Also, if you are getting solid frozen foods you don't need ice packs as they will act as ice packs, it's only the things like frozen peas etc. that need ice packs.

Ha, yea probably as close as you could get to that in America “road legal” would be a Polaris Slingshot, Mini Cooper convertible, a Smart Fourtwo Cabriolet or a Fiat 500 cabriolet. Or golf carts in some beach towns, 55+ communities and coastal islands.
Looks as safe as a hairdryer in a shower. How come the air cooled motor doesn't overheat with 3 people in hot Thailand?
These little Honda motors can sit and idle in traffic all day and operate at very low speeds, they run cool. I think they are designed for that type of duty actually.

Lucas we had a sidecar built for my gf’s night market kebab business in Korat. We were told that we couldn’t use the scooter that she already had and that we needed a shifter model. Her aunt gave her her old Honda Wave shifter model. Looks like yours is pretty new. Is it a shifter and are these models still sold new?
Yes, this one is a manual shift Honda Wave. BUT... I have seen automatics being upfitted at the same shop. I think they will put the side car on anything you bring them, I saw a Honda Click with one there and a Yamaha Aerox, there might be some models they won't do, but I really think the manual shift bikes are a better fit for this sort of duty as the low first gear gives more low end torque to get the thing rolling under load.
@@Rides4Kickz she has a Honda Click. The sidecar place said they wouldn’t attach one to it and said they’d only do shifter models. Nice to know we can still get a new Wave. Might have to pick up a new one next year and completely go through the old one before sending it back to her aunt. Her aunt has been very generous with her.

If he just needs assistance, probably an easy solve, most anyone can push a wheelchair etc. But if he needs care, then it would likely have to be a nurse. There are agencies that provide caregivers, they usually charge by the month, so you might be on the hook for a month rather than 3 weeks. Bangkok is the most likely place to inquire about agencies.
