Suspect crashes stolen car into apartment gate, gets out and stabs man several times: Houston police

Police said no one saw the crash itself, but witnesses did see the suspect get out of the car and walk over to a man lying on the ground nearby.

Sorry, but I do not understand what happened. Did the criminal slam a car into someone, then stab them? Or, was it some random individual just walking by that location who was hit by car?

I know I’m lost also but my only question is was it Tyrone or Pedro since it was a stabbing I’ll go with Pedro this time.
