I was never a fan of him. From what I heard, he was unfaithful to his wife, for one thing - not cool. But it wasn't until this video that I've heard of these presidential failures Sounds like he really was reckless Still sucks that he was murdered. He didn't need that
I like JFK, and listening to another side's views is what we are supposed to do. While i may not agree with most said; I praise you for sharing an unpopular opinion and i enjoyed watching your video 👍
I felt like I took a trip to the past, 9th grade social studies, watching a video on Kennedy whilst the teacher talked over what was shown. Sounds to me like he was just being an American. Mosquito splattered on the windshield? Use a sledgehammer to get rid of it. lol
Yes, definitely there were times when that was the case, but no other president was nearly as reckless With their foreign policy, especially during the Cold War. Truman and Eisenhower were very strong, we aren’t all reckless imperialists
Listen, jfk is a good president but this is actually a good reason. He’s still a good president in my eyes. But it’s your opinion. And I cant change it. I respect you for making a video on why you actually made a video about why you don’t like a certain president. Not those ones say “he’s bad and he poop in my pants” type videos.
@@nerdtalk1789 it’s because of his opinion on communism and his speeches. His “we will go to the moon!” Speech was my favorite one. Communism was bad, and he was pretty tight on it. I really don’t know much about him but I believe he’s a good president. I also like your videos c:
@@GMgame20 I completely respect your opinion. But don’t you think a president should be judges less on their words and more on their actions? Every president from Truman to Reagan basically had the “communism bad” mentality.
Really, I don't know if I would rate him THAT low. The Historians rated him "Above Average" - which I think may be more correct. Because when he was good, he was good. But boy, when he was bad........ Keep in mind that Johnson got a ton of credit for passing those domestic programs that we take for granted so easily - Medicare being one of them. But it was mainly the programs that Kennedy laid the groundwork for. So there are hints he was better than you are making him out to be. In fact, one sympathy letter Jacqueline Kennedy got from a grieving citizen said it best. "I think I know why this had to happen. If you husband had lived, his bills would have died. But now that he's died, his bills will live." And that is pretty much what happened. But I do agree, getting assassinated was in fact a good career move as far as people having such reverence for him. The one book I would have anybody read on Kennedy would be the simply titled "President Kennedy Profile in Power" by Richard Reeves. In that book he comes off as a complete 3 dimensional human being, definitely not a saint, but there were worse vices he could have had (and for anybody that feels sorry for Jackie, keep in mind that nearly the entire Western Hemisphere warned her what he was like - and he wasn't going to change - but she went ahead and married him anyway). But the ultimate question you ask from reading that book is "Why in hell would ANYBODY want this job?"
That’s totally true, I could have mentioned that his involvement with NASA was very significant, I just feel like almost starting world war three and getting praised for it is a bit too much for me, but I totally get your point.
I envy people like you I literally can’t imagine having an original opinion tbh
Wow, I Googled it and you were right. This definitely changed my mind on JFK. You should do a presidents tier list video.
Maybe one day, thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed!

Idk, he seemed pretty open minded to me
i mean, yeah in domestic policy, but he almost started WW3 twice, doesn't that count for something?

Highly entertaining and informative video, bro. Great job.
Changed my views of JFK tbh.
This helped give me evidence on my argument, thank you
Anytime!
Very refreshing video thank you for making this. Also feel free to look too much into the date I'm leaving this comment.
Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy were the only open minded presidents the U.S had
If you truly believe that, you don’t know American history very well

My least favourite president was William Henry Harrison. My god, he ruined everything, the evil man!
