    I like how you were able to show us how many different combinations of grey and white can be put onto a canvas. You never let me down. When you said that you were done, I said to myself, "the wall needs more shade and more white". A few seconds later you caught it and enhanced it.

    There is not one painting of yours I haven't liked, they are all magnificent.
    So I have been 'Giving it a go' like you said and trying to follow your method and tips as much as possible by starting with a thin underpainting then laying a thick coat over the top. I have a problem with getting the values right but like you said, it takes practice.
    It is fascinating to see how your 'mess' in the beginning turns into a master piece at the end, that is what I would like to accomplish

    This evening thought continue a painting in the garden as light fades. Got to dark, stood back, hmmmmm, if I screw my eyes up I can’t see anything, check in the morning, let’s watch Robert.
