    Ook wij waren blij jou weer terug te zien, deze keer met je tovenaarskunsten met de 'bold Brush'. Die partij mensen op het terras, als één veelkleurige vorm, super! Veel succes en werkgenoegen, terug in je atelier! H en H.

    amazing piece! I love how you captured the warm and cool shadows as well as the variations in value between the shadows in the background and foreground! Considering that it's all practically in shadow because it's backlit, you've really created so much depth.

    I am happy that you were able to spend valuable time with your family and away from work. Those two weeks are more important than the other 50 in the year! Bless you my friend!

    Lovely to see you again. How thrilling the house sounds. I remember being scared at nights in one old house I lived in as a child. It was a very real fear.

    A very nice painting.
    You have very good light above your work area. Do you have a skylight ? Maybe you could speak about your studio lighting, natural and artificial, it always seems very good.
    Thank you.

      Hi John, I would like to have a skylight, but I bought daylight tubes. These are very good to work with. Of course I need to take care that the light from the windows is not too strong because that will give reflections on the wet paper

    I noticed that the degree of This painting is difficult , it needs a lot of concentrations reasoning and observation of panorams IS difficult, Congratulations on your incredible performance of Skills and incredible color harmony

    This one is beautiful. Do you make smaller color studies beforehand to get an idea which colors to use or does this develop during the process?

    • @TitusMeeuws
      @TitusMeeuws  4 месяца назад +2

      Thank you. No, I don't make smaller color studies beforehand. Sometimes a painting is not good enough, not "approved" by myself. Then I can say it was a study

    Hi Titus my name is Dylan and I’m an oil painter. 🧑‍🎨 I watch your videos as they are fascinating and provide me with a lot of inspiration. I am curious as to what the cans of stuff like the silver can with the red flame are? Are they mediums you use in water colour? I’ve never done any water colour so I am curious about this. Thanks warm regards Dylan

    • @TitusMeeuws
      @TitusMeeuws  4 месяца назад

      Hi Dylan. The cans you're looking at in the videos are white spirits and oils for oilcolor! I paint in oil as well.

    I don't think it is a good idea to use ps AI for constructing paintings. In fact I'd even say it is a pretty bad idea. If you're a professional you better do it on your own. On top of that the shadows look off because the projections are made sloppy on the fly not at the start when doing the proper composition. All in all the picture looks very nice, though.
    btw: Are you sometimes fed up with those Amsterdam lanterns? :D
