This case is Judge Judy gold. She didn't even wait to hear the damages before awarding the plaintiff the maximum amount. Not only was the defendant guilty, he was driving without insurance and brought a witness who was clearly there just to lie under oath. Add to that the plaintiff was organized, well-spoken and prepared. This was a no brainer for JJ once she had the witness testimony. I also loved how the defendant's witness didn't even get to say a word but still got called an idiot LOL
Don't forget he also apparently lied to police and said he had Nationwide insurance. And to top it off muttering "excessive" when she said she was going 40-45 mph. I hope this clown enjoyed showing his entire ass to 10 million people.

Literally the same thing happened to me recently. My mom was driving me to the hospital for another injury !!! Same exact accident and the man lied and said he had insurance!!!! One witness of 5 actually gave me her information to contact her...and we also had footage from street cameras. I think I'm going to bring his behind on here because he definitely doesn't have the money to pay out of pocket. It's ridiculous ‼️‼️‼️

It just goes to show you why it is so important for you to be patient when you take to the road. Apparently, the defendant was impatient and decided to make his left turn regardless of who had the right of way. Bottom line, the person driving straight ALWAYS has the right of way on the green light; if you are making a turn, you NEED TO WAIT. He's not the only driver out there that has demonstrated impatience, and unfortunately, he won't be the last.
He was trying to say he had the green arrow im which case he would have the right away and those going straight would have a red light. The witness showed he was lying.
And he wasn't the next car to turn left, he was the second car and cut off the car in front of him, causing the plaintiff to hit him since she obviously wouldn't have seen it fast enough.

Exactly. I once made a bad decision and drove drunk, ran a stop sign and smashed into the back passenger side of a ladys car where her kid was in a carseat. What was left of the kid after the accident looked like a tube of hamburger exploded in the back of the car. I had insurance but she had let hers lapse, so thankfully my conscience was clear about the kid because she shouldn't have been driving.

I would say that was so embarrassing for the defendant and his witness but something tells me neither of them have any moral/social compass to feel any shame.
