Hope this doesn't burst your bubble but the EX manual transmission has some shorter gears than the DX(DX longer for more fuel efficiency) but you're having fun with it and thats what counts.
Hey some other brands to check out for Coilovers would be B.C Racing, Eibach, Fortune Auto ( Fortune Auto will rebuild the shock no matter how old it gets) Skunk 2, Function and Form ( I find them to jave a soft ride. Do lots of research first maybe on Honda- Tech forum. Ive heard people discourage the use of Max speeding rods but Im sure from your research you'll pick the brand that works best for your needs.👍🏾🔰🏎️
I always feel like Im missing out on race driving practice by not having RWD I do have an old 86 Mazda b2000 thats rwd but that's not exactly a miata or an AE86. I also own a EJ1 EX manual and an EJ8 EX converted to manual...I guess I have to make due with what I have the RWD tax seems crazy these days... As a miata owner do you think Im missing out?
It really depends on what you like. I like my Civic just as much as my Corvette and my Miata. They each have their strong points and weak points. Though I’m more into FWD sporty compacts anyway.
@@The_Yung_Enthusiast Saying you're more into FWD as an owner of a Miata means a lot in the sense that There's a lot of RWD only people in USA especially. They're kind of RWD snobs and are always talking down on the platform. I know from owning multiple Gens Civics that Honda Mastered the FWD platform for performance and they can be very capable (see Jordan Cox EG race video on YT). I know the physics of RWD give advantages though.
Well, I’ve only owned Honda’s until I got my Miata in 2020 so I’m still biased to them. Miata’s still my favorite car I’ve owned but I’m faster with FWD.
Keep going 🎉
Dual core aluminum radiator would be a good upgrade ( skunk2, Koyo rad)
All the best reach out if you have any questions....Ive been messing with them since 06.

I just bought what one of the people at my dealership were selling.
If I was rich I would have bought a Si if I still wanted this generation Civic.
Manual EX trim did have a tachometer power everything sunroof and cruise control.
The “Luxury” model.

I’ve seen decent reviews from them. This is just a cheap daily build.
@@The_Yung_Enthusiast Ok.. make sense for a budget build👍🏾
Im confused about your point about red interior, was it burgundy or bright red on that 92 Civic. What body style was it.
It was Type R wine interior with a Rosewood Brown Metallic exterior.

What speakers were they?.... I may need some for my 5th gen Coupe
I took out the front door cards to replace a door handle yesterday and found out they were Pioneers.
@@The_Yung_Enthusiast Ahh yes exactly what I had but the cheap ones... They are completely ruptured from the car sitting over 10 years.
