This was the best WAR on clay I've ever seen between 2
great players. Monica Seles just wanted it a bit more, and
I've always admired her fierce determination, and will to
win. She would have won way more titles had she not been
stabbed. Monica Seles was "no doubt" one of the best ever.
She had won 7 or 8 major titles by the age of 19, and no
player has come close to that. Two great champions playing
here, ina very gritty match til the bitter end.

    • @carrerau7138

What do you think you can achieve with your lies?
Seles "no longer even the shadow" of her former self? "Didn't even come close to what she was"?
Seles was 54-6 win/loss in the first 14 months after her return. Including two USO final losses against Steffi (who was not in slump anymore as she had been in the early 90s).
Had Seles had opponents in those USO finals like the ones she had in 1991/92 it would surely have been a 56-4 win/loss record, no?
Which would have been a 93.3 winning percentage.
The same winning percentage she had in her best year ever, 1992.
But hey, everything is allowed when it helps to denigrate Steffi Graf, right?
      Disgusting....
