Why not send 1 to me in the UK? 😄
Awesome channel and some how i missed the contest for the t-shirt give away and i have been following you a long time and would love to have one and keep the great vids coming
I'm in Canada and I would except anything as a prize or gift.
Great job changing oil in the 855 Mike
As a business owner myself, I can assure you that what you did servicing that equipment, you took a huge load off of DP. There are never enough hours in the day to work, get supplies, service equipment, move equipment, etc. Good job Cap.
Thank you! Just trying to be a part of the team
Great video Mike
Great job changing the oil and filters on the payloader Mike
I love how you talk to yourself. That way you can figure out what to do. And as always the sound effects. That's why the bolt didn't come loose on the back of the tractor. Lol!
Have you ever just had one of those days?!?!?! Yes Sir I have by golly. And yes, you sometimes just gotta vent (off camera or in my case, just out of hearing distance $#@$##@ from the wife!! hehehehe). Thanks for making me smile and chuckle on a quiet Sunday afternoon. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
Love it the way you used the fan belt to take the filters off never thought of that good idea.
Thanks!
That was a great idea. Using a fan belt as a strap to loosen the filter. Brilliant. I’m definitely going to try that next time
Hey thanks!
I love the fact that you don't edit out all of your little screw-ups. We all can relate! Thanks Mike!!
It's part of life! Thanks for watching!
Hey Mike, I learned from a pretty smart guy, when all the old fluids have been drained before you put the plug back add a small amount of new fluid and that will drain out the rest of the dirty fluid. Some free advice from a friend in upstate NY!
Kleenman didn't know there was any other kind of bus. Other than a struggle bus. Lol God bless
That fan belt trick is the coolest thing I have seen in quite a while, it is just a shame that I only work on cars, where there is nowhere as much room in the engine compartment as in a 10 ton loader. The comment that somebody should make a contraption with a piece of belt, and a handle, was pure (and DRY ) GOLD.
Hahaha thanks!
You are a great asset for Dirt perfect!
My husband and I love watching your channel. We probably have about 10 favorites and you are one of them. Your chatter along with your expertise is fun to listen to and watch. Thanks for keeping us homebound elders entertained.
Appreciate the kind words!
Now DP has a fancy pants wheel loader. All serviced up with clean windows. Still needs a Dirt Perfect decal.
3:23 "Looks like a dinosaur was murdered under here!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 After I was done laughing, I had to go back to this point since I missed the next two minutes!
Gooooooooooooood Sunday mornin Mike. Just thought I'd mention that you have one of the most pleasant, easy to listen to voices that I have heard on RUclips. I am 66 yrs old and have been retired on a disability pension for some 10 years so I have had the time to watch a lot of videos and yours are by far the most enjoyable to listen to. HAVE A GREAT DAY
Lol, thanks Brent!
I agree! I was "retired" at 55 with a disabling car wreck 13 years ago. I just in the last year or so found several youtubers I watch regularly, this be one of them.
Mike your "happy-go-lucky" Attitud and the calm voice just makes watching your clips as usual enjoyable. Stay safe
Thanks for watching!
I was subbing in the appropriate expletives watching this...so you wouldn't have to.
And then it occurred to me that for you it's ALL win/win!!! If you drop an oil filter or spill oil all over creation--about where the normal guy start restructuring grammar--it makes great content. Win!
If everything goes swimmingly well, the content is still good AND you have a good time. Win!!!
You can't lose, Mike!
That's right! Lol
It's good to see old equipment maintained and cared for. Myself I have a volvo l70 payloader with 23000 hours and I spent a solid week fixing things when I bought it.
My granddads tractor has never had clear hydraulic fluid. It’s always been milky. When I got it I drained every bit of the hydraulic fluid putting a new lift pump in it. There was just barely some old fluid left that I couldn’t het out. Put new fluid in it ran it for a couple hours checked it and it was just as milky as before, he ran it like that all my life and it’s still going.
Tee shirt!!! "Run whatcha brung" the 754... 'Future shop rag." on the sleeve, maybe. LOL
Hahaha, I like the future shop rag idea !
I'm a diesel mechanic and I love this video 👍🤝🛠️
Thank for the feedback!
Got to love mom and pops
Definitely!
Good vid. First time I seen the fan belt on the filter trick. Appears to work good
Not as easy as a filter wrench, but it gets the job done.
Hi Captain 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 from South Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺 🤣
Hey!
I'm sorry, but you are now a professional Dirt Person.
The half grunt, half chuckle, half surprised sound you made when the loader started said it all!
I like your channel. You and Dirt perfect always have a sense of humor. Cheers form St vincent and the grenadines.
Thanks for watching Kenny!
Hi Captain 👍👍👍 from Western Australia 🇦🇺 🇦🇺
Hey!
That hydraulic fluid looked nasty on 855. Wow🥶
I think I got oil in my eye when I fell. Thanks for catching me. Lol
Definitely needs fresh hydraulic fluid
I got a buddy who has same loafers 3 of them he restored and they run awesome no def they just run and run great vid she looks good
They are reliable!
Looks like the weld turned out nice. At least it didn't look like bird poop.lol Darth Vader would have been proud of that exhaust. Great vid.
Thanks for watching!
Even with the oil spill, ya did a great job for a part time employee.
It's a measure of someone's attitude and professionalism when they go beyond what was assigned themselves like you did on the exhaust stack.
I'm sure Mike's going to appreciate that.
It'd have sucked had it fallen off on a job.
Those 855s and 955s are solid tractors man, every time I see em for sale they ask for good money and I understand. Love the content man, don't change a thing.
Hard to beat them!
I have found a 955 with loader around my area in CA, they want 15k. Not sure if that’s a good price or not. Looks like an ok tractor
Thank you for the upload, have great day.
Thanks Dennis!
I like rice ash or just ash from the fireplace to soak up oil that gets spilt. Rice ash can be reused where fireplace ash can not, once and done for it. Primer or not, still a good idea to add fresh clean fuel to a fuel filter before installing, and then using the primer to just top off pressure for the system….saves time and energy. That hydraulic filter on the little Deere has water in it which will take out the seals in the cold, letting you replace each and every seal in the hydraulic system. I suggest you keep a rag in the cab of each machine to wipe off the connectors for quick connections for the hydraulic system helping to keep dirt and other contaminants out of the system and saving you headaches when implements don’t work right because dirt is plugging those little orifices. Hydraulic systems can be touchy only because of those little orifices getting plugged with dirt or other contaminants.
I just follow the CAT manual on maintenance
Muffler weld looks awesome!
Thanks tony!
You're just saying that to get on his good side for the next T-shirt contest.
I always love the self banter (someone should make a tool like that. LOL). I have the feeling that would go on whether the camera was rolling or not.
You're right about that!
Great work ! I do a lot of service work like that for people, always satisfying to do and to find and correct the issues :) keep up your videos they are great ! Your outro’s are fine :)
Hey thanks David!
Great video you can use a big pair of channel locks to get filters off
Definitely, unfortunately he didn't have any that size
@21:32
Ohh. The jokes just write themselves. 😂🤣😂🤣
Lol
Capt, the easy button is a nice addition👍 Thanks for sharing the video 👍👍👍👍👍😺🤗🐺
Thanks for watching glenn!
Napa makes a filter wrench that is a strap and works with your weather. I've got one and love it.
👍
Lol welding is what man behind the scenes does
That ole loader needs lots of love. However Mike does keep it maintained is the reason his equipment last as long as it does.
Definitely
You probably noticed too, that loaders steering cylinder bracket movement, when you greased on vid.
There is some play in the pin. Nothing crazy though. Appreciate you looking out though!
@@CaptainKleeman What i watched about 5 or 6 times, was the bolted down top part of the pin holder, I guess the top flange maybe,, that top bracket moved up as grease was pumping in, i looked for camera movement and seen none, I have a 40" monitor- at first i thought a glitch but after 3rd time was certain and then confirmed with a couple more full screens that the top moved up and down ,, not the pin moving forward, sideways or back.
Looks like fun! And just think your learning alot
💪
HI TO ALL THE AUSSIE'S ON HERE 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
from the Netherlands thanks for the video Captain
Thanks for watching!
@@CaptainKleeman
you're welcome Captain as always
I'm not a professional welder but I did collision repair for 35 years and your welds look fine to me don't be so hard on yourself practice is the key
Thank you Fred!
As short supplies exist for nearly anything you want now days. It is wise to stock filters and fluids for at least one service well in advance. Then order to refill the shelf.
Love the monthly giveaways idea
Thanks Lee!
You always put a smile on my face every morning you post Have an awesome day you and your family
You too Gayle!
Nice motivational video, I need to do service on some of my tractors. Wait, never mind, it's cold outside, maybe I just won't use those tractors until they get my new shop built. Yeah, that's the ticket! Thanks for the Sunday morning chuckles, Captain!
Hey there ya go!
Your welding is getting much better lately. You did a great job on that exhaust.
Thanks Ian!
Good evening Mike, I am going to try that, but with a shorter belt. Thank you for sharing that little tip. Steve from N.B Canada
Thanks for watching Steven!
Well Mike , guess your a Man of all Trades, and better than that, your good at all of it, I’m pretty sure that Dirt Perfect Mike is more than happy to have you. You can tell by the way he smiles , when he see’s you.another great job Mike😎😎😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Allen!
The weld looks very respectful. Nice job
Thanks Jon!
Great job.
Good job Captain
Thanks!
My grandson has one of those buttons. Good video.
Thanks Mike!
I do like your tutorial on servicing the equipment, your sarcasm toward yourself is entertaining keep it up and carry on.kudos 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Thank you Tom!
Good video Captain, it is nice that there is a local store that carries the filters you need. That way DP doesn't have money sitting on the shelf waiting on a filter change.
Was great watching on my big screen TV. (wife was still in bed) But had to use laptop to like, and comment. DP is blessed to have You around. You did a lot of servicing.
Hey definitely appreciate the comment!
I like the no intro 👍 Getting straight into your new filter channel - take us down to the filter shop so we can see what sort of people keep the world turning in spite of “supply chain” issues??
Nice job Mike love watching you work very entertaining 🏴
Thanks!
Working smarter not harder by adding the corrosion protection for the floor while servicing the loader. Nice going Capt.
Exactly! Lol
Oh, the joys of stiff bolts and filters..... and I learned a different use for a fan belt !! 🤓
Three and a bit tubes of grease, that was some serious lubing!!!
Good to use small shops, you are supporting local businesses and families!!
Did someone fill the 855 with tea rather than hydraulic oil ?? Didn't look like builder's tea (that is usually stong enough to stand a spoon up in) more like afternoon tea tea 🤣
Intro and outro, in and out clean and lean Mike !!! 😁😉
Clean and lean,. Haha, love it
You doing absolutely awesome job no matter what DP says.
Thanks Donald!
I love watching your video and dirt perfect channel I think y'all do great work on everything y'all do together with the other guys my name is Bobby keep up the great work your doing Sir
Keep up the Good Work,
Thanks James!
Ha...,
all this time I thot Mike’s loader was a JD.
Liked the filter wrench trick...
Thank you sir...
Thanks for watching Gregg
Lol. That was easy. I love your channel.
Thank Jimmy!
Love your sarcasm!
It's a lost art
Great job mikey! Few problems when you take your time and pay attention!
Thanks William
I'm in Canada and I would except anything as a prize or gift.
I liked the helmet glass in front of the camera. I would go with a little lighter tint so some more detail shows up in the video.
Appreciate the feedback!
Awesome job!
Thank you!
Great work Capt the belt trick works great
I have used it for years
Thanks Chad!
I know it's three weeks late but for future reference if you loop the belt through the box end of a wrench and then put the loop around the filter it gives you a handle to work with
Thanks for looking out!
Love to have a shirt :)
Welds on the exhaust looked just fine Kleeman ! And CONGRATS ! I see you eclipsed 50K subscribers !
Thank you sir!
Great video Captain, I believe in taking care of equipment. Love watching !
Thanks Andy!
the Belt wrench is a cool idea ,less mess than the screwdriver oil filter wrench LOL( at least I'm not the only one who makes a mess when servicing an old Cat 926), hope you got that rear drive shaft greased, that's the hard one to reach, Have a great week Mike
Actually forgot the drive shaft. Appreciate the reminder!
The weld you did on the muffler looked much better than what was there. I think you did a very good job on that especially for how thin that metal is. 👍
Great job getting things done while the boss is out playing in Vegas! You should have went with the chrome tip on the exhaust! 😂
Lol
Keep up the Good Work, Thanks for stopping me doing my chores on a Sunday afternoon in the UK 😂😂👍🏼
Hey get back to work!
Good mornin Mike! Not sure if you have tried a Loc-N-Lube fitting on a grease gun yet, but I find them to be fantastic! I haven’t found a reason not to use one yet!
I have one on my grease gun at the house, actually I have a lock n lube grease gun, the whole package! Love it.
DP has one on his older DeWalt “greeze” gun. He just needs to order one from Loc-N-Lube.
#locnlube
Another awesome video.
Thank you Chris
Just washing the windows improves the functionality of his equipment by at least 82.683%.
Oh definitely
For good welds all you need is practice, practice and practice !!! LOL
Definitely!
Thanks for the upload Mike, see you on your livestream. Take care and stay safe.
Thanks Craig!
It was just one of those days.
Great job 👌. The exhaust looks great
And your weld looks fine. Not easy on thin metal.
Thanks Bobby!
Hey there I would watch it great video I always enjoy watching you make me laugh 🇺🇲
Thanks for watching Thomas!
Always enjoy the videos, thank you sir for the entertainment 👍
Thanks for watching Randy!
Love the PM work, much needed to keep the fleet running. Muffler came out great, wish rims got painted, nobody would have recognized it. Or Mrs DP would have yelled at DP for buying another piece of equipment 😂. Keep them coming Mike 👍🇺🇸
Hahaha, hey thanks for watching Max!
How do you do that! You make even a siple oil change entertaining. Thank you from Central Indiana to Southern Indiana.
Thank you!
Rushed in to check if i won.. always next time I guess lol
