Just finished watching. Wow, this was really amazing, I loved this. So great to hear about how Brandon began his RUclips journey and the learning cureve he's gone through since starting, i'm considering starting mine, I have a couple ideas kicking around. That coupled with stories of his teaching, I really liked the part about the student directing him to teach her what she wanted to learn (Metallica), and in that the student teaches the teacher, love that. Student led teaching. I'm also an appreciator of classical music, having been introduced to it at a young age (got a good core memory of it from school) so it's always great to hear someone else talking about it.
The ending up just talking during/ after lessons or Riffin' should I say, hehe, is exactly what happens in my lessons. I have a teacher (next lesson coming up soon) and we will just end up talking, about the same topics you guys are talking about here. Love the books you talk about here, i've just pulled out my copy of The Power of Now :-). That Paul Gilbert thing you guys mention is kind of one of my goals, to be able to sing and then play what's in my head, I think that is an really important thing to be able to do.
