Most impressive but this is definitely aimed at the more experienced modeller someone like me it would be a waste but l can appreciate the detail and looking at the price it's a lot of kit for your money l would love to see one finished thanks for a great review Peter l will interest to what next they bring out 👍

I feel this project is the Border Models 32 scale Lancaster for those on a smaller budget;- challenging in the extreme, utterly rewarding once you get it done, and I'm glad such a kit is out there. To have a museum quality kit available to the masses is heady stuff indeed. All the best Peter from a cold and wet Friday night in Stratford, New Zealand.

A superbly designed and detailed model kit. Perhaps too many parts and over detailed in individual parts which might not be visible once the model is completed. Expensive, yes, however as always you get what you pay for. Personally I would expect such detail in the larger scales of 1/32 and 1/24. This model is definitely for the very experienced modellers in this world, taking a minimum of between six to twelve months to complete. Not for the timid!
I believe whoever is brave enough to construct this model, by taking their time and research all aspects of the aircraft and weapons payload, will be rewarded with an exceptional model.
Great review Peter. Thank you once again for showing this model kit.

It all depends what you are into. I put the flyhawk PE set on a shnellboat and one gun had over 50 parts and there were 3 guns. It took me nearly a year. Looks great but the reason it took so long was that I had to do other things to keep me San.

Our hobby is supposed to be relaxing and fun I am probably like you Peter like the detail but want a happy medium, this kit though lovely looks just too much like hard work for me. The Tamiya 1/32 kits I love, just got the Zuke Mora BF109 that is about the limits for me.

I love the combination of the 3d printed details combined with modern quality plastic moulding with build up from multiple parts. It's expensive, it's a crazy part & decal count but you makes your choices to invest. The hobby is now purchasing kits and accessories for the collection rather than building the actual kits! The stash is the end game...

Lovely kit of a beautiful plane. Of course we don't know how it'll all go together but it looks great on the sprues. This one is beyond me. I'd have to get my wife to support, organize etc. If it goes together seamlessly this may be the greatest 1/48 model kit I've ever seen. Then there's the other thing...I've been proven right time and again not to buy stuff from China so I'll reserve judgment until I know a lot more.

An amazing kit, but for a ham-and-egger like me it is more a prison sentence than a model. Ideal if you are doing a lengthy stint at an Antarctic research station or aboard a long duration mission to Mars perhaps. Purchasing a halfway decent microscope would be a good start.

This is the kit that's intended for the Plasmos of the world. People who want a little extra detail and want to make some minor modifications.

Dear Peter, my very personal opinion: a complete total demential kit. Three pages just for the seat! Simply idiotic thinking at the resin afters that with one piece are better and ready for assembly. Half the pieces are useless, invisible and impossible to be managed properly. An insane exercise of making absurdly complicated a kit. Not to mention the packaging: the exhausts in a box as they were diamonds or a Rolex....buhahahaa. 350 stencils..... TAMIYA for ever! Best
