I was taught this hymn in Sunday school, many, many years ago. When I came across it, sung by the mass choir, in Welsh, I immediately recognized the tune, but weren't familiar with the words. What an amazing hymn, not to mention the lyrics. This should most definitely move you. Greetings from South Africa

My Dad was in a Gospel Male Voice Choir, all Christian men, and this was one of my favorites. Thanks for posting.

This lovely hymn is achingly beautiful and never fails to bring tears whether in Welsh or English. The song Jerusalem does the same. Just beautiful.

That' s amazing harmony. Churches in South Korea, we still sing this hymn in our services " My Lords' Precious Blood " if I translate Korean lyrics into English.

Can someone dictate the English Lyrics as Subtitles or a comment as I am hearing impaired and struggling to hear the lyrics.
    Thanks.

I hear thy welcome voice, That calls me, Lord, to thee; For cleansing in thy precious blood, That flow'd on Calvary.
Chorus I am coming, Lord! Coming now to Thee! Wash me, cleanse me, in the blood That flow'd on Calvary!
Though coming weak and vile, Thou dost my strength assure; Though dost my vileness fully cleanse, Till spotless all, and pure.
'Tis Jesus calls me on To perfect faith and love, To perfect hope, and peace, and trust, For earth and heaven above.
And he the witness gives To loyal hearts and free, That every promise is fulfilled, If faith but brings the plea.
All hail! atoning blood! All hail! redeeming grace! All hail! the gift of Christ, our Lord, Our strength and righteousness.
