The park was completely redone since I have been there. The sites used to be mud if it rained and it usually did. Nice video. I just reserved 30 and 32. Thanks guys
Great video and so helpful. We are camping there for 2 weeks this month. We travel full time so we stay longer in FL State Parks in the winter. Thanks for the info on the Tunnel Cave. That will save 2 old people some steps.
Hi Karene glad it was helpful we really enjoyed the campground as well as the caves :) we are glad to save you the crawl LOL 😁 hope you have a wonderful time safe travels and Happy camping 😄sending smiles your way
Hi Scott and Jolly! From climbing cliffs to spelunking in caves 🙂. You guys are showing it all. This looks like such a great place! Personally, even though we like foliage between sites, we prefer having no large trees nearby. This park works, though since there is a nice amount of space between sites. That cave crawl you guys did was pretty cool, although I totally understand that stress that Scott felt squeezing through the entrance. We are looking forward to the cave tour videos 🙂
when you say full hook up do they now have sewer for all the camp sites and can they handle big Class A's now? We have not been back since the hurricane shut them down they are not shaded because the storm took out the beauty of that park which was the massive trees. I am so glad they are operational again. Its still beautiful but miss all the trees. There used to be so many deer and turkeys there I would sit every evening at the Hickory Pavillion and wait for them. We volunteered there several years and stayed 4 months at a time back by the Hickory pavillion I cant wait to see him do the cave tour and he has to climb through parts of it on his knees lol unless the storm changed that like it did this one. ROFL I was yelling at you no, take the other path but you couldnt hear me I love that they have come back strong but my heart breaks seeing it now. I dont think I will ever go back I would rather remember it like it was.
What a great video. Nice to see you both. Didn't care for the snake. lol. I have crawled through tunnels in my lifetime and it can get very nerve wracking . I thought the campground was very peaceful and I love to see you frying up the bacon. Take good care. I think about you lots. Di
Love the video. Looks like a nice weekend stay. We are headed to the Fort on the 19th of September. How is the love bug and no see ums this time of year? It's been a few years so wasn't sure if I need to be prepared. Thanks guys, much love your way
Thank you Steel Traveling glad you enjoyed the video. It was a nice getaway :) the no see ums are not too bad now but the love bugs are going crazy we also got back from a visit to orlando today and the mosquitos were out in the evening :( I would definitely bring some sort of mosquito wipes or spray if you plan on watching the water pageant or fireworks from the beach at the Fort :) hope you have a wonderful time.Safe travels, happy camping & sending smiles your way :)
Hi Scott and Jolly! I'm really enjoying all the new places you all are visiting. You do such a great job at showing all the sights and sounds and sharing all the important information. Do you think the campground was designed without trees or were the trees possibly destroyed when hurricane Michael went through there? It's still a really nice place either way. I'm looking forward to seeing the cave tours. : ) Thank you for all your wonderful videos and for all you do. Take care and try to stay safe!!!

Nice campground...very clean. Seems like a lot to do to keep you busy. I am like you I do prefer a area with a lot of trees!

It was destroyed in Michael
The campground was quite shady before Hurricane Michael destroyed the place.
Bring your own horse!😂
Great campground. Great video! Curious has Scott put any solar panels on your motorhome? If so how’s it working?
Yes he put solar and it works great ! 400 watts. 2 Lithium battle born battery's. Love the system. Thanks for watching we appreciate it !
Did they add more? I just booked for April and my site is number 34?
Nvm didn’t watch the whole video yet 😂
