This video series is a bit longer than usual, at times maybe a bit redundant 🤷♂. But I'm really hoping to show that if you work it to a certain level of detail, however tedious, it can be an awesome guitar. This one turned out awesome, one of my main players. I've added chapters to all of the videos incase anyone wants to skip around or hit certain reference points. The first two parts of this particular series are touching up the products we'll be using (neck and body)... the series speeds up on part 3 where we start electronics and installation. When the series is completed you'll see why we took the time, stick with me. Enjoy!
I've built all three of the XGP shapes... Strat, Tele and JM. The bodies are poplar and ash, which are common woods. I think if you're patient with the process and take your time you can build a really quality instrument.
@@FeelsLikeSunshine It does indeed. I drill and install the bridge in Part 3 (which drops next Friday). Part 2 dropped this morning. New part every Friday. 😁

I just ordered a double-bound tele body and a roasted flamed-maple neck from GF, so it's really helpful to come across this series.
Nice! The Strat Partscaster series was great, so I'm looking forward to this one. Appreciate your level of detail!
Thank you! Happy to have you as a subscriber 👊😎
Nice!
Thank you!
Was wondering how well their stuff goes together.

The thinline body looks awesome! What’s the body and finish quality like? I’m looking at getting the same one you got here.
For the price I've had good luck with their XGP stuff... the roasted maple neck is really nice. It's a thin poly on the body, which I actually like.
@@ChadwickRider rad thanks! Does the body need to be drilled for installing the bridge?
