It looks great Mal really good looking truck Traxxas bodies love to pop of the clips were a eye sore but kept the body on so thats just the down side of clipless bodies it looked great can't wait to get mine
If that's stock, I'm reasonably impressed with it. It shows that the electronics aren't crap but just weren't made for the JATO. When I pick mine up on the 29th, I won't be in a gigantic rush to upgrade the motor and ESC.
I'm very happy with the power it has, for how I drive more than plenty. From what I have seen of the BL-2s in larger cars you are right they are under powered.
That thing looks great, love it. I bought the Arrma granite Grom right when they hit the stores late last year. I absolutely love it. But, I don’t think it’s as durable as this mini Maxx looks. Just from normal driving, the teeth stripped off one of the rear drive cups on me. Not a tragedy, and an easy fix, just more annoying really 😂
@ yes it was more expensive, traxxas always is. BUT, traxxas also not only has the best parts support of any brand I’ve ever owned the past 40 years, they make up for their car prices by offering hands down, the cheapest repair parts of any RC brand. I have bought some Arrma the past year and don’t regret any of them. But I’ve been buying traxxas since 1997 when I got my first nitro car. And their repair parts are absolutely the cheapest. A new A arm for my XRT was $16! A new A arm for my 3s granite, was $35! No matter what most people think, it’s always gonna even out money wise no matter how cheap a cars initial price is. For me, I’ll never stop buying traxxas.
@@OGRCFanatic That's part the reason I like Traxxas as well is spares, I have only had Traxxas for about 15 years. Arrma I have the Gorgon and love it for me they got it right with that. But Arrma do seem to break on the dearer ones and they seem harder to work on.
The arrival date has been all over the place in UK, 2 weeks ago it was going to be the end of December and then Wednesday the shops changed to Friday. I looked on Friday and they had a blue left so clicked buy, as they sold fast.
Same! I bought the XRT about a year ago. I love it but it’s just too big for the areas I have available to drive. Get the 4s outcast, you won’t be disappointed. I got the blue one just before they released the newer version with the rear shock protectors and without the sway bars. SO glad I did too. I couldn’t imagine having mine without sway bars. But, that’s just me personally. Some guys like not having sway bars. I love em.
@@neilllockett7950 They are good for the basic back pack, I have a larger one for crawlers I go out with. If I go to Southend I take our old shopping trolley that hides all and easier to pull than carry on the back.
@BasBoyRC that silly little thing will need a power supply that doesn't suck in order to power up a massive battery. Anker chargers off Amazon are a great investment
My skatepark bash was as good as yours mate, couldn't get a back flip out of it, it was so wet at mine it was a little too difficult to really get a good run in. Check my vid out👍
That's awesome Mal. They look a nice truck
Thanks Tib's, not perfect but better than the Grom I had.

Not a fan if this clipless system, I like the single lever that the Maxx has.
This is exactly what I wanted to see! I preordered mine a week ago and super pumped now that I see this!
It's a fun little thing 🙂I'm more then happy with it.
This is awesome dude! Really enjoy the xmaxx and maxx trucks can't wait to get one of these now. Have fun out there!👍
I have a Maxx and love it and this is a nice mini version 🙂
Very cool bashing Mal,thumbs up 👍😍
Thanks Jan, enjoying it while I can.
Awesome bash. Do you think the clipless system is also due that the body commes off?
The clipless is useless on this, the Maxx pops but not as much.
@BasBoyRC feared it.
Well you did not hold back on this one that's for sure!! Looks good!
There was a lot more than on the video, but the chassis seems bulletproof the body show damage already.
Great run , how would it be possible to keep that battery in storage with the supplied charger? I guess it won’t do storage mode
The charger works with flashing LED's so when it's one flash under 25% 2 flashes 25/50%. I will charge until it starts 2 flashes.
@ Thanks for this , got mine on the way 👍
@@Peteftm You will have a lot of fun when it arrives 🙂
looks good runs great 👍 brilliant fun rip around skate park 👍👍😎
It did run well and the small amount of rear spring rate make it right for me 🙂

I hope traxxas can see these issues and in the v2 fix them. looks cool though
They normally do.

I got rid of the grom it was not for me, this is way better but came at a price. I think the mini Maxx will be easier to work on.

Your right I do need to try a Traxxas out one of these days,. Nice bashing brother..
🙂It took a lot.
Seems a bit noisy but I’m sure after a few runs to break in the motor and lubricate it better it should quiet down
I do not find it too noisy but will look into mesh.
ว้าว สุดยอดมากๆเลยครับผม รถสวยมากๆเลยครับผม 🥰🥰🥰👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻♥️♥️♥️
Thank You :-)
That's performing well for a stock. I'm impressed👍🏼
I found the power perfect for it 🙂
How do you have this 10 days before the embargo lifts to sell?

Certainly looks quick, regret selling my normal widemaxx. I enjoy the xmaxx its just soo big. Have considered getting another maxx or a 4s outcast.
I have always fancied a X-Maxx but the size has always stopped me. The Maxx is so good and the mini Maxx as good.

We do have a ftx tracer brushless version also. Like the fact itll go in a backpack. Keeps unwanted attention away as you transport them@BasBoyRC

Looks like it struggles to backflip? Do you think it would be a better stunt truck on 3s?
There is enough for back flips, I just getting used to it at the moment and did not want to kill it on the first run.
Looks like a good one!
So much nicer to drive over the Grom.
Does the usb c brink need to be 35 watts?
I have no idea with USB chargers, I was only using my phone charger with the "C" lead from my Go-pro so not the most powerful.
nice run
Thank You 🙂
Looks like it lands pretty good without bouncing . Sound screamy.
The motor is powerful, the suspension seems to take the landings well.
Well, I think it passed the skatepark test with flying colors, exept for the body then, but that is expected i guess.👍😉
The car was great there, you are right the body clips are crap. I wished they had done Maxx system, one leaver is better.
It’s really nose heavy. Needs heavy throttle just to prevent a nose dive. Not a jumper.
It's a little nose heavy but way better than the Granite Grom I had.
I think you’re first to bash it. Cheers!
I wanted to see if was good at my local park, got to get used to it more.
Show us your charger you used....
It's a silly little thing that connects to USB, Traxxas just wants you to buy there bigger charger.
@BasBoyRC that silly little thing will need a power supply that doesn't suck in order to power up a massive battery. Anker chargers off Amazon are a great investment
@@HoffaJedi I have chargers so will buy a conversion lead then it will connect to the balance board.
I know i want two of them
🙂
I think your intro needs to be louder
There very nose heavy it seems
Not as bad as the Granite Grom I had.

I managed to back flit it just not used to controlling it on landing. I was lucky it was as dry as it was.
So it handles like dogsh!t just like its big brother.....and why so noisy?👎
The noise could be down to how the chassis is designed but I did not find it that bad. The handling down to how hard the tyres are.
