Great review Syn! Wizard and Glass is such an underrated entry to the series. Personally, I absolutely loved it. I really enjoyed learning of Roland's backstory and such a tragic love story. Loved the Eddie riddle to stop Blaine The Pain. 😀I am reliving the book through your review. I think the people who hated on this book did not appreciate the beauty of Roland's history and just wanted them to continue on the quest, keep moving forward. I think that this "teenagers in love" story gives us a deeper insight into Roland and the man he becomes. The Good Man aka The Dark Man is a serious villain in this tale. The fiery climax to this story is so heart-breaking and intense, I loved it! I want to re-read the series including all King books alluding to the Dark Tower in chronological order. Keep following the path of the beam! Hope you enjoy the utter weirdness of Wolves Of Calla.

Thanks Cliff! I’m looking forward to the next one. What a journey! I loved the backstory in this, it definitely gives you a window into more of why Roland is the way he is and why he’s on his quest. Looking forward to moving forward and following the path of the beam!☺️📚

Wow the mind that man has to come up with all these expansive stories. Based on your reviews they seem to get weirder and wilder. All except for the witch... pure...thing... that'll be an interesting podcast discussion XD

Glad you liked that one, I hated it 😆
Book 4 was the reason I needed a 3 months break from the series. This eeeendless flashback which took up 80% of the book made me angry.
The last three books were awesome again, thank goodness 😅

I feel like a lot of people didn’t like this one because of the romance in it. Seeing as how most King readers want horror and not romance it makes sense. I liked the backstory but that’s just me. Glad you made it back to it and continued the series. A lot of times in a series if I hit a book I don’t like a lot, I won’t finish the series. I’m committed to this one though.☺️📚
