We have a 6 Yr old white female Anita, she was not wanted as she needed a eye operation a common problem in Anita's, we paid for her operation and we got the best of the litter. She is sweet ,devoted and so loyal and loving. She's wary of strangers especially certain men, workmen coming to my house ,I have to watch her, one plumber's she did nothing but growl at.

my white american akita is four now ,she is my second akita fully trained now but was hard work very stubborn

Mine was the same incredibly hard work and stubborn, but he was worth it in the end. Sooo many embarrassing crazy situations he got me into, so many times he would take off after deer, I d watch him and deer disappear out of sight. He would always come back tho, eventually lol.

with white breeds, there are often blind dogs and/or deaf dogs. we have two 6 month old white Akita Inu siblings. both are blind. but I don't care. the 2 are the best dogs you could wish for. they too deserve a good life.

Nah you just love them because they're beautiful. If they have defects people shouldn't have to breed them. But of course people like you who sought after these breeds of dog are the ones responsible why breeders breed them.

@@kumaboyy.7443 She's a sweetie baby. She is the smallest of all 3 of our Akita's. My first Akita is and always will be the Gold Standard in my book. She weighed 120 lbs and she grew up with our daughter. Best friend my daughter could ever had. She slept next to my daughters bedside for nearly 13 years.
