great video cheers mate! just a bit of friendly nitpicking, software releases typically go alpha, beta, RC, then Final. Devs don't always release alpha versions to the public, they're too new and broken.
I’ve just ordered one from Aliexpress for £30 😮 excited. Gonna pull the roms off the sd card then update to onion & put the roms back on (minus the systems I’m not interested in)… sound like a good plan? Is the supplied sd card really that bad? I can get a better one if need be, but would prefer not to 🤷🏻♂️
Just order meyou mini plus's with updat onion os and a 156gb SD better SD then with it but won't tell me what emulator and games are on it all hope he did me a good one thanks looks great
Just a note, there won’t be any OTG compatibility with this, ever. The usb-c port literally only has power and ground lines attached. The fast charging and data pins aren’t connected to anything at all, so no video-out either. Maybe a future model will have that function, but in the name of shaving costs, I wouldn’t expect much…
After updating I launch my games and they don’t have the options to load a previous in game save.. it’s like I’m starting from scratch ! What did I do wrong??
Great video! Slight bit of feedback - the timelapse sequence starting at 5:25 is a bit nauseating due to the changing LEDs in the background. The color change does a good job, but perhaps set a slower rate of change when filming timelapses.
I literally just got a miyoo mini plus in the mail and I bought it to play Pokémon emerald and it literally doesn’t work! Sapphire and ruby do but emerald doesn’t…I’m so annoyed!
@@savage9602 so has to be comply clean b4 adding the os maybe that's where am going wrong as have load of stuff on the card and added the files from onion os and nothing plus doesnt play anything bar ps1 games

Onion OS makes this good handheld into a great handheld.

You tried them using this os ?
Try another rom or different default emulator. Emerald works for me.
My Miyoo Mini dont Read the sd card. There is allwas unmounted on the device info :( can u help me???

32 GB is a safe option 64 GB for some decent amount of ps1 to keep you happy

I put the files on but I don't get an installing loading page, it just loads me into the OnionOS but nothing is on it, can anyone help?
Are you using a clean sim card? Sim card gotta be completely blank, so make sure to backup everything
