After watching this video I sold my Bogner Shiva combo, which I absolutely loved, and purchased a Bogner Helios Eclipse 100. I love this amp! It can nail the old Marshall tones 70's - 80's. Plus it looks killer on a 4 x 12 cab.

One of the best guitarists around. Deserves more recognition. Been watching him for 15 yrs. So if you don’t like pentatonics go do your math arpeggio scales. Pentatonics can be played over rock, pop, blues, funk even jazz.

I have it and it’s never mentioned that you can set the variac switch to 32 watts. I like when people argue with me about it but I own one. It’s a spongier feel.
I have had some Bogners. They are all amazing!!! Currently using the Shiva. Doug, the Helios and the ATMA are all great. The ATMA is awesome for what it is. At 5W, in an apartment at 2 AM, you can't beat it. Big power feel at super polite volume. Thank you Reinhold!!!!!! You are a child of the Universe.
coffeewaldo Yeah, I hear ya. Tube watts are loud. I have always lived in an apartment. I have usually had 100 watt amps. I just turn the volume down. Luckily never had a problem yet.. I think part of the "loudness" is a forward midrange. The Bogners' have a huge midrange. They really cut. How is the 1 watt setting in your place???
Hey David, The one Watt is fine it's just a shame I can't use the other two I just can't play that loud in our apartment and I typically don't play loud anyway. Otherwise i'll hear my wife say turn it down. Meanwhile the volumes on maybe one.
Lol I'm ok David. I'm finding lots of different tonal options. This amp has endless varieties of tones that I keep coming across. At least i'll have my hearing right? The 1 watt can be loud. Trust me. Maybe i'll move up to 5 watts when nobody's around. :).
Doug’s playing is like having an top F1 driver go around the track in a new hi performance car. He able to squeeze more out the car and track than the designers thought was possible.

I have the 50w liked it better than the 100. It has a nicer feel to it. It also sounds more raw.
