Listening to the rest of this new album for the first time! More Taylor Reactions! Willow - • Taylor Swift - Willow ... Betty (Live) - • Taylor Swift - Betty (...
Bro, you're a good example for those who hate Taylor based on the media's manipulative portrayal of her character to push a narrative or an agenda. They don't give her music a chance to speak for itself. But you did and came through with honesty. There are some people who pretend to like her just to get views and subscribers. Knowing that makes me appreciate you even more. Keep going my friend. We're sticking around. Cheers!!
The media always gets their dirty claws into whoever has a spotlight on them. I try to stay away from most of it in general. Thanks for being here and sticking around!
You're right about the juxtaposition with the other song, "right where you left me." Actually they are two bonus tracks off of the album, and they are placed right next to each other. They both complement each other, first one is about a person who can't seem to move on, and this one tells to leave that bad place and go to a better one.
The 15 years is referring to her former record label. She’s now creating more authentic music. It’s the best work of her life and career. Absolutely beautiful.
the verse where she’s talking about the man sitting in his palace of bones addresses how she lost the rights to her discography and how she was betrayed by her own record label. the same topic has been talked about in my tears ricochet and some other songs!!
It’s weird seeing how far we’ve come. I still remember watching your first video and how things have shifted since then. Keep it up. I enjoy watching your reaction.
Agreed on the message and it's importance. Liked the "you just go" at the end. Also really liked what you had to say about the message, and I'd say it's a good sign that these messages, that aren't necessarily conventional wisdom yet, are becoming it, more and more so. They can be found evermore to a greater degree not only in music, but in media of every form. Going in the right direction. The truth cannot be stopped.
Awesome! I have to remind myself of these things sometimes before the thoughts cloud me to the point I fail to even catch myself. It happens...sometimes in new ways and sometimes in old ways. Don't beat yourself up. It generally isn't productive haha.
Actually Taylor released 2 albums in 2020, ‘folklore’ and ‘evermore’ within the span of only 5 months, ‘folklore’ was released in July and ‘evermore’ in December right around her birthday, so she like gave us evermore as a gift on her birthday 😭 So the song “It’s time to go” is actually a bonus track on evermore’s deluxe edition. Loved this vid btw!
Thanks! Shoot, did I imply or say this album came out this year? I think if you asked me, I knew it came out last year but I was going through it this year. My b if that's what happened. Glad you liked the video!
I appreciate you're honest about something not being your taste. Honestly, her popular radio hits throughout the years were not my favorites. I always loved the deeper cuts. Also, in her documentary she mentions how throughout the years she has focused on pleasing everyone around her. I feel like that also reflects those radio hits. But with the last two albums she has been much more focused on doing what she loves, having albums that are so focused on storytelling. I feel like her music has evolved as well.
in response to 3:20 -the Buddha said that with our minds we create the world, but what he did not say, is that before that, the world is what creates our minds
Scooter Braun was her manager for 13 years but with the lawsuit it was 15 years. He has her past (the masters) frozen behind glass (in showcases) but she still has herself. ❤ I’ve heard that Karlie Kloss (who became a great friend) was also represented by Scooter and she was telling Scooter secrets about Taylor. So the twin sister (people said they looked alike) stabbed her in the back.
Scooter was never her manager. She's talking about Scott Borchetta, the head of her former label who was like a father figure to her and stabbed her in the back when he sold his label to Scooter, and with it all her masters.
Hey, been watching your reaction videos for a couple of months now, and I finally got over myself and subscribed. I really enjoy witnessing your thought process, especially the attention you pay to detail. When you break down the musical layers of a song, I begin hearing more after your depiction on it, and it's like a more in-depth listening to something I would've normally passed by otherwise. Song lyrics matter, messages matter, accompaniment matters, and I think it's cool that you share your personal take on those, because it's obvious you love what you do and your energy is contagious, in a good way. Thanks for sharing, thumbs up!
Haha, a secret fan! That is very funny to hear all this. Great to have you here and thanks for the views, subscribe and this comment! It was a lovely read. I think when one does what they love, they can offer their best. Here's do doing what we love, yeah? Cheers. Thank you! See you in a future video ;)
Ha, that's a funny idea. I just might do it. Starting to feel that I will eventually react to everything she's ever done so stay tuned and I bet it will happen lol. I might do a video where I request in the comments for people to vote on reactions on her songs that are not off an album or studio recording. Something live or one-off like this cats thing.
With Taylor you need to listen to her album cuts more. She said that she makes lists for an album. Have songs for the radio and then the rest. Have you seen the miss Americana documentary? Or the making of a song series showing her songwriting process?
I might do a summary video wrapping up my thoughts on the album as a whole. However, I didn't listen in order and I'm not sure I would do 1 video where I listen to each song all the way through and have a 2hr upload. Will consider a way to do this, though.
This one comes up a lot. I will have to find a way to do this. It's a super copywritten thing but maybe I can watch on my own and talk about it after as opposed to doing a real time reaction. What do you think?

Ha, good to know I happened to listen in order and noticed that they kind of belong together in this way. A happy coincidence!
@@JSteezy and this is the track that Taylor picked as the last song... So that's how she picked her "journey" of the overall story.

Lolll hey, good to see you in the comments! I think I like the more recent work a lot better but I'll know more as I get through more of her work.

when you were talking about overthinking at the end and how it can be crippling that really resonated with me. interesting perspective

Aww :D haha well hopefully I continue to have good things to say! Whatever the case, gotta keep it honest.
this songs hits me so hard.....
I'm sure people have said, this one and Right Where You Left Me are the bonus tracks from Evermore, her second pandemic release.
React to ''beautiful ghosts'' a song the she wrote and singed for the cats movie, the movie is trash but the song is so good

Fun fact: This song was written right after Taylor & Aaron Dessner wrote Willow. 😊

damn! I love the way how you do your job! subscribed already 😊 more vids please. check out other albums of her.
Welcome aboard! Thank you, I'm sure I will be reacting to more of her work. How could I stop here haha. Cheers!
@@JSteezy your thought process is just ♥.
Yes it's better you listen to the songs in order cuz some of them are connected like dorothea and tis the damn season
I think I will go in order for future albums if I intend on listening to the whole thing.
Steeezaaayy!
Yooo!
When are u gonna react to midnights????
I have one request if you can please react to her song All too well.
You must do a full album reaction.
I might do a summary video wrapping up my thoughts on the album as a whole. However, I didn't listen in order and I'm not sure I would do 1 video where I listen to each song all the way through and have a 2hr upload. Will consider a way to do this, though.
Please react to Taylor's new song Renegade...It's amazing😭
Please react to long pond studio concert for Folklore
This one comes up a lot. I will have to find a way to do this. It's a super copywritten thing but maybe I can watch on my own and talk about it after as opposed to doing a real time reaction. What do you think?
Oh my gosh...
where are my favv songs ( coney island and Gold rush) from evermore 😳😳? I wanna see reactions on them too.
Oh, like the vaccine for covid-19, it's coming! I'll do the whole album.
