@@CJMediaOfficial if i we're you i would build myself a frame to remove bikes from a van or pick up truck, with wheels on off course then drop it off in one go where you would like it to be, even you can still remove the bike from a vehicle by hand and then build a hanger type frame bridging over the bike and with a single or double lifting anchor, lift up the bike and push it to where you want the bike, or just simply invest in a small lift truck

CJ, great job. I really admire how your getting the exact bikes you want. But your challenging yourself by not picking the easiest bikes to rebuild. Your not afraid to take a project that the normal person would not even try to rebuild.. keep it up

In the engine you have to remove the spark plugs put some oil in the cylinders, run the engine without spark plugs directly on the starter motor. After that, measure the engine compression to get an initial idea of internal damage due to water.

That bike had some serious impact. At least the dash screen looks ok jest renewal of everything else needed easy one for cj to fix
Don't get a overly trashed motorcycle cause even when you fix it it will still have some hidden cracks or stressed out pars that can snap or burst open when riding and handling can be crazy when in top speeds ✌️

I rebuilt my 2021 Factory after I was cut off BY A GROM!! He didn't see me and pulled out right in front of me. I should have made a series out of it, but I was too upset. She is 100% good now.

In Canada, the 2022 RSV4 base bike comes in at $20995 and the “factory” at $27495. Very interesting bike. Keep going CJ.

As a owner of 3 aprilias I wish you luck in trying to get oem parts. Usually all on back order. Been waiting almost 3 months for a side fairing for my Tuono.
That was my first thought, I'm out 2 years now waiting for parts for a 2020 model. Also, I can't imagine this build costing less than a new model...
@@MotoMotoBrain Yep, this bike seems way to gone to make it financially cheaper to fix then buying a new one. New rsv4 bases are in the $16-18k range. I have a 2020 Tuono misano and they discontinued almost all the fairings already.
@@hayden6327 the real advantage he has here is it's a RSV4 RR, not a factory, and it's a the 2021-2023 part line. Which they still make the parts for. Ebay going to be the savior here, a lot of the parts are available there just not new. Tons of used OEM.
I'd also probably use a heat gun directed into the cylinders/valve intake to dry up any water, and drop a little lube oil into them to stop corrosion.

I have a RSV4 RF 2016 also but actually still in repair condition. The engine was damaged at April 2022. Since then I haven’t been able to ride on that beast 😢 Keep waiting for bushings and other engine parts. Excited to see what you can do to this beast.

I have a 2018 RSV4 RR with 1,650 miles...attempted a crash rebuild & cracked the frame in the process. If you're rebuilding yours & need parts I can be very competitive & my engine is a BEAST (no scrape, scratches, leaks, drips or stutter) just pure adrenaline!

Hey CJ are you going to Pull the Valve covers and drown the top end in Oil and/or Rebuild Lube. If I was doing this I would probably pull the heads just to settle me nerves😆..for the cost of a Top End gasket kit Id feel a lot better having a look-see. You might get lucky just sticking the camera down the cylinders) I hope the Valve seals aren't shot from F***** Snow/Dirt/Rat Piss Ice cold weather. After about 3 or 4 Heat cycles of the motor, you will know if the seals are going to hold. I hope you get Lucky on this Build CJ.👍
Take the plugs out and try turning the engine with a lecky drill spray dewatering fluid in the cylinders
This is going to be an awesome but more complicated project!
In the end you will have a dream garaze!

That engine is toast…. You are going to need a top end refresh pr you are just going to have a blown motor on your hands. Admire the ambition but unless the bike was only a few thousand dollars, it’s a parts bike
That will be fun 😅 I think there is a bend Valve 😢😢 in my opinion you have to open te engine and take off the head to check this
