This is my first time EVER baking with yeast instead of sourdough... and I'm impressed! Ditch the high cost and not-so-great ingredients of store-bought sandwich thins and make your own! This recipe is so so easy and turned out absolutely delicious! Join me in this episode as I make homemade sandwich thins from scratch using only 7 ingredients! Ingredients:
First mix:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 packet of dry yeast (rapid rise)
1 1/2 cups warm water
Let mixture sit for 15 minutes.
Then add:
3 T. olive oil or oil of your choice
3 T. honey
1 t. lemon juice
several pinches of salt
2 cups whole wheat flour
