I just made this and immediately came here to let you know it came out perfect! My family loves this recipe and your sponge cake recipe! Thankyou so much!
I followed instructions but my dough was very sticky. It came out kinda flat & the powder sugar did not stick to the cookie...not sure what I did wrong but it taste good...
@lyssa This exactly happened to me the first time too, I made them again and used about 2cups flour and put the dough in the freezer an extra 20min and it was perfect.
Hi, freezing or refrigerating is recommended. If skipped the dough will be too soft to form a ball and even if you can form a sticky dough ball when baked the cookies will be a lot flatter.

Did you allow the dough to sit in fridge for a few hours? Next time if too sticky you can add a little more all purpose flour.

I have lobo thai custard mix pandan flavour can I use this in the cookies?
Hi, I have never tried that so I’m not sure. I think you can, but will need to adjust sugar and add a little more flour.
Can you freeze the dough for future use?
Yes you can. Thaw in refrigerator prior to baking.
Hi! Do you think i can replace the powdered sugar as a topping with desiccated coconut?
Hi, I have not tried, but I think it may be fine.
What’s the purpose for freezing it before use

How long do they last in the fridge?
After baked? I leave mines out of fridge in a closed container and it’s good for up to 5 days. It starts to get a little hard after 5 days.
@@ZoeyandVFam what about before it's baked?
Where did you get the mat for your baking sheet?
Walmart
😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤💗🖒
What’s the oven temperature for baking?
350 F
What size is the scoop? Thanks
I’m not sure, this is medium size bigger than melon scoop. I’ll have to check when I go back to the store on sizing. Sorry.
Why roll it in the granulated sugar first instead of just the powered sugar?
You don’t have to, but it tends to help keep the powder sugar on better while baking. I do it with and without and they are almost similar result.
@@ZoeyandVFam thank you! I’ll have to try that on mine just to see hehe
