Nice! The 4" plates are only ¼" thick and are rated for handguns up to 45 ACP, and rifles in 17 HMR and 22 LR... going to get the combo but upgrade the hangers!

Yeah, the little ones are only meant for small rifle and pistol rounds. But the hooks should withstand better than that. I just bought the commander package so we will see...

When you purchase this kit it tells you what the plates are rated for. The small plates aren't rated for 223 or 556.

hey man. What bars are you using? Can you just get them from a hardware store? Im thinking of getting these but was disapointed they dont ship with the metal rods.

You're going to have to get 1 inch EMT conduit. You can get it from home depot or some other hardware store. Get 2 10 foot pieces and a pipe cutter. The targets come with instructions on the lengths to cut. It's pretty easy but yes, they don't come with the piping.

1” EMT works great! plus it’s replaceable. Only downside is, EMT has doubled in price in the last few months! Hope price drops back down in the near future

For 150 you could have gotten one decent true ar500 gong rated up to 30 06.
I learned the hard way as well. You wiped your butt with 150 dollars unfortunately.
I don't understand what the ar500 rating is for if they can just sell you mild steel and rob you.

On second thought, the bigger plates held up decent for 50 yds if that's really how close you shot.
