- Kyrie Irving : Throughout the years.
Witness his rise to basketball stardom. Beginning from his high school years when Kyrie attended a small private school, Montclair Kimberley Academy, and then transferring to perennial national-powerhouse St Patrick's High School. This is how it all began for Kyrie Irving, who is regarded as the best player to ever come out of New Jersey.
Highlights include never before seen footage of Kyrie Irving during his high school seasons with MKA and St. Patrick's, as well as the New Jersey RoadRunners AAU Program. Additional highlights are shown after high school, including Duke University, Cleveland Cavaliers and Team USA, all in chronological order.

One of the first things I noticed about Kyrie is that he used both hands equally well--dribbling, layups. This is always my first clue that a player has been well coached in the fundamentals. Father laid blueprint and Kyrie put in the work to build his game.
He secret is he told us he uses a plastic bag over the ball to keep his coordination and handles up to par
@M stop talking

😂😂😂
@M ?
I went to Roosevelt middle school, the same middle school Kyrie went to. He was gonna go to WO high, but went to MKA instead and finally transferred to St. Pats High. I remember him coming to my 8th grade science class when he was in college, but was on leave cause he had a broken toe. Amazing to see how far he has come.
How tall was he in 8th grade?
diondre williams he was in college when he came

You can really see the glory of god shine through that boy. I enjoyed this so much. Dreams really do come true.
Don't discount his accomplishments by adding God to the conversation. He does not once in the film thank God for his accomplishments.
+Truth just because he didnt address God doesnt mean God didnt or couldnt have helped him
he is a devout chirstian
Scott Bennici you sure about that now

This video shows the importance of sound parenting relationships in personal development. with the negative views of black American fatherhood(some justified, some unjustified) this video should serve as an inspiration to young ball players and to viewing parents of taking the proper time and methods to cultivate your child's potential.
chitownmo that’s absolutely right
chitownmo unfortunately i never had that
@@zay9678 that’s ok don’t let that define you
He plays a lot like his god father who was my favorite player growing up. Except Kyrie has a far better jumpshot. Kyrie and Kemba are my favorite PGs in the league because they have that tri-state area handle. People don't realize there's a difference between having a nasty handle and just having a nasty crossover or moves.
Explain to me what a tri-state area handle is.
ILL MATIC You'd have to just see it. But basically tri-state guards have the ball on a string. They can handle the ball in traffic. Their handle is low to the ground, closer to the body and their crossover isn't wide and exaggerated.
Hollis2Hollywood Aight cool,thank you!
His godfather is Rod Strickland
bullshit!
17:35 even the referee fell from that twist. . lmaaoo

This video was truly inspiring 2 me
After watching this I play 3 hours a day #SeeYouInTheNBA
Non Ya Kyrie play from 8-3 and then 4 until around 6 or 7 thats like 9 to 10 hours a day.
Jack is a dumbass. 8-3 was school
^^ Well logically its impossible for a student to play 9-10 hours a day. When i was in hs i used to go D1 to recruiting camps just for the comp and I remember one of the coaches telling us that you dont need to work for 4-6 and that most of the guys who said they were doing that likely weren't working hard enough. Kind of a quality over quantity mentality. Although kyrie obviously proved to be an exception to this. Also if everyone who worked for 4 hours a day was in the league... well lets just say it would be a big league. There is no set in stone path to the nba working hard and being good is just a prerequisite to give yourself and chance and thats assuming that you already have the natural advantages like height and athleticism.
+John Smith what if he did quality and quantity? After all he did get himself to be an allstar in the nba and you domt get there by having the same regimen as everyone else
Non Ya 3 hours is not enough I play for 9 hours on weekends and 4 hours on weekdays because of homework
Video was so dope! Thank you for making this.
great video man. i really appreciate stuff like this
Thanks.
@@WOhoopz28 yo bro come back we are waiting for you

Was waiting for this vid for a while now! Big fan of his so i already know it's gonna be good meaning i'm gonna like the vid before i even watch it :)
What a journey. Seeing this made me so proud like I lived it with him or something.
when i play in the NBA i want to play like u Kyrie Irving u r the reason i play basketball i looked up to u all my life right now im in the 9th grade when i play in the in the NBA i will like to play on the same teem as u
I agree, I wanna play in the same team as him also.
Are you in the NBA or did you quit... Like a kid
I've always thought that Kyrie was a unique combination of talent plus hard work, a super high b-ball I.Q. and an iron will. It seems like he had the incredible, and uncommon, benefit a great parents. That is so huge! His Dad is to thank for a lot of his success. I appreciate players, like Irving, who never get too high or too low on the court because it shows that they are objective and don't get totally thrown off by emotions. (see Chris Paul!) Irving, absent injury, is a foregone conclusion for a decade, plus, NBA star.
Great parents. Not "a great parents."
Man that was real dope. Thanks for putting this together.
Oh, Kyrie is the real diamond for the NBA.
I didn't know that he was raised by only his Dad. That's cool that they share such a special bond.
i also didn't know he had a sister lol
this guy is my idol i watch this video everyday thanks for making the video man i appreciate it
Very nice. Kyrie's sophomore aau highlights would have been a great addition to this video.
awesome video looking forward to what kyrie does this season
I noticed some footage taken from one of my videos, I'm honored
Great documentary
damn kyrie singing we're all in this together made me and my friends go ROFL big time!!! LOL!!! HAHAHA!!!!!! :D :D :D
GR8 VIDEO bro
SALUTE from BOSNIA
great video!
I saw Kyrie play in a high school tournament where one night he went up against a team with 3 division 1 prospects. That team went up by a few points and was playing well. At that point though, Kyrie absolutely took the game over and he through and around them and was hitting layups and outside shots and there wasn't a damn thing they could do about it and they had a good team too. It's just that Kyrie was on a different level and they couldn't guard Kyrie.
I love that play beginning at 28:43... the block followed by the layup with contact 👌
Congrats Mr. 2016 NBA Champ !!!!!
Awesome Video
My favorite video ever. He played basketball so much and was so good. Many players red to play that many hours as he did.
Great video
He lived in Melbourne Australia when he was a kid. Is this true? Just heard this story on the court at training today. One of my favourite players; We love you Kyrie=Massive Respect
The sound track is bumping
I love to see the father and son connection. He such a well spoken young man and that because of his father
Nothing but success to you and family Kyrie keep doing you my man.
4:40 my boy was always clutch
AWESOME!
That singing clip is goated
this documentary is missing some very famous accomplishments: ROY, 3-point champ at the 2013 all-star, MVP of the rising star game, and that infamous battle w/ Brandon Knight during that rising star game which I believe an ankle was broken in the end... Oh and there should of been some Uncle Drew clips in there.
This documentary was made before that they just published it at a different time
Great 👌
Kyrie deserve to be where he's at today because he worked his butt off every single day and he kept a good attitude☺🏀💦
In 8th grade he looked like the NBA rookie version of chris webber.
