We moved to Colorado. We met a couple who had three retired sled dogs from Breckenridge Co. All pure bred Huskies and all over 8 years old. I know you guys give rescue Huskies a lot of love. I thought it was really cool that this couple loved these dogs and wanted to give them a home for the last third of their lives.

I got your Christmas card in the mail yesterday. It is so cute. I love it. I don't travel or have dogs, but this is some really good information for those that do.

I haven't traveled much with the dogs lately but in addition to everything you said, I always made sure to pack extra collars, leashes, a blinky light for their collars, a small flashlight, a copy of their most recent vet records including the rabies certificate and I take a crate even though they probably won't use it where ever we are staying. It's almost funny how much you and I think alike when it comes to our dogs!

I remember being really small when I started watching gone to the snow dogs, I came back to see it and I was so happy, because I didn’t realize within the time period I stopped, they had got a new dog, I was always so happy to be on this adventure because of the ups and down in the past to now❤

Used your old videos to pack for my first road trip with our pup. Had everything we needed and then some. He even has his own doggie suitcase too, lol. 2 kids and a 7 month old pup was a fun and long trip. He's 2 now and still and wonderful car dog.

I had a medically, needy, husky, and would always make sure to pack her shots records along with any medical information from the vets office that would be important if an emergency came up
Poo Bags, I have them in every coat I own, they are on the leads and in the car, plus wipes, water, first aid kit and towels, gotta be prepared when you have a dog, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it!!

My family doesn’t really travel with her pets. We leave them at a shelter, but this time we are going to socialize them so they could play with all the other dogs and not be a little bully.

Memphis was smiling at the beginning of this vlog. I bought Cosquien for joint health. Have a safe trip to Florida. Keith and I have traveled alot with Cookie and Charlie and they are pros and know what to do even before Cookie and Charlie we traveled with 4 Shih Tzus, German Shephard and a Huskey/Lab mix. Only one weird problem, happened in Detroit Michigan, Keith and I went out to dinner and my Sasha, a Huskey/Lab mix, got out of our room running around the area. How did she do this??? Don't know 😕 She did come back after midnight scratching on the door. UGU!!! Joan ❤❤❤

Don't they make cooling dog coats that the dogs could wear in the summer? I remember Shelby trying on one in your livingroom. You could use something like that for the puppers if you went to stay somewhere Hot during the summer months.

With pets at hotels, if you call and the hotel says no sorry. Do not get mad at them. Most time someone high up as put in a rule. It is not the person you are talking to faults
We always request a manager, and we only ask this at Pet Friendly hotels. The 2 dog "rule" can be over ridden by most managers. We have never had an issue.
@@GoneToTheSnowDogs I’m just posting as someone who works at a hotel with a strict one dog rule and regularly gets called all sorts of names that are not repeatable. Please be nice to the workers when the answer is no
@@FaithChick18 Yeah like I said, I ask for a manager. And if they say no (which almost never happens), we move on to the next hotel. Simple as that.
@gone to the snow dogs Is there any possible way that you could please link where you got Memphis' knee brace? We recently had our 11 year old husky develop osteosarcoma in his knee and had it amputated. We would love to have one as we still like to take vacations and bringing our dogs Is a must.
