- My dog got stung by a bee. Actually, two of my dogs got stung by a bee! What did we do? Today we are going to tell you the story about our dog Kira, and Eleanor being stung by what actually turned out to be paper wasps! What do you do when your dog gets stung by a bee? Not everyone knows how to react to a dog bee sting, but I can tell you this, it can become serious very quickly, and the faster you react, the easier this is going to be on your dog!

I was going to say there has to be a nest somewhere in your yard because this is happening SO often this year! I'm glad you guys found the nest and hopefully it'll stop the stings! Eleanor's face was SO puffy! It's hard to notice on the dogs with the white muzzles but it is so exaggerated on Eleanor. She saw Kira get stung (and got lots of attention) and she said "hold my treat!" and went and got stung multiple times. Oh goodness, your wallets this past year has to be hurting a bit! Ah, the glory of having babies, furry or human. I'm glad everyone is okay though!

Please do the video on the kit. My now 10 year old husky got stung by multiple bees when he was 9 months old. We immediately took him to the emergency vet where he received the Benadryl and the steroid injection. I also had to give him the prescribed Benadryl at home to continue to help my sweet pup. Finally, the swelling went down! we found the bee’s nest and took care of it. When Max went outside later, that day, he immediately ran to the spot where the bees had been, apparently seeking revenge lol. Sense that incident, I always keep Benadryl on hand. Thank you so much for sharing this video. You guys are awesome!

Omg be careful while taking him for walks too my dog got stung on his paw ... we went to the vet they told us to give him benadryl.. also I never knew bees make nests under grass... 😢

The whole neighborhood is better off now that the wasps are gone...I have a friend who got stung while out gardening on their large property, 2 different times on her eyelid from 2 different in ground nests! (fortunately she's not allergic) Your pups are so very well loved and cared for Welll being all ya'll! (Great howl fest at the end there, Mr. Dan!)

Glad you finally found out that it was a wasp nest. Paper wasps are really aggressive and territorial. Hopefully no more swollen snouts!

An updated first aid kit would be interesting. Something you could cover would be how much of certain items or total kit size for 3 dogs vs only 1 or 2.

My dog likes to eat fallen apples. One time, he ate one covered with bees and ended up with a stinger in his tongue. I knew something was wrong when he started whining and pawing his face. He was very cooperative in letting me open his mouth and scrape away the stinger with tweezers. Oh, the look of relief on his face when I got it out!
Poor dogs my mom got stung by ten bees it was not great time for her she even cried in real tears it hurt so badly oh my gosh please stay safe you guys I love ya ♥♥

I have a pup whose allergic to bee stings. I have slow melt benadryl on hand. I keep an eye on the gums; if they go gray, she's in anaphylaxis.
I'm glad the girls feel better. Yes, I would love to see the doggy first aid kit. Have you ever heard of a Tarantula Hawk (it's a wasp). They live in our area, and they are not poison but they have the second most painful sting in the insect kingdom. My problem is we got a 5-month-old German Shepherd pup and he thinks insects are the greatest toy in the world (he chases flies all the time). I've yelled at him a few times when he attempted to get one. I always go out with my two dogs (we also have a 14-year-old) to keep an eye on them. I guess I better get some Benadryl and hope he doesn't get a hold of one (we live over 100 miles from the vet) (one way). The theme song is back Yahhh, so happy to hear it.
