I have fallen in love with bakers creek seeds over the last couple years. So excited for every order to be delivered. It quickly becomes a passion or obsession. I guess if a person is going to collect something, there's nothing more useful and important than seeds.

We quadrupled our garden space at the end of last year. Baker Creek has blessed us tremendously with the new seeds to fill the space. People are awed when they look around at the different heirlooms because they've never seen stuff like this in a store. I am so grateful for this company all who make it work. Blessings.

This was the first seed catalog company I ordered from when I began my journey in the garden. The first time I saw my tomato seedlings come up, tastes a home grown tomato I was hooked. And the catalogs are gorgeous. Didn't know there was so many types of fruits and vegetables. Thank you for making a city girl go play in the the dirt.
Glad to see they are getting the recognition that they deserve, I've ordered quite a bit of our current seed stock from them over the last 8 or 9 years; been saving some of the best seeds to plant for the next year and any extra as gifts to my friends and family... my feelings of gratitude towards gere and his family and company have been about 15 years. i treasure the whole seed catalogues and the stories of amazingly dedicated seed collecters /growers working with gere. i have been growing 0ver (90% heirlooms for 40 years and finding baker creek was like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! id lost a rented half acre , and am now reduced to a packed small balcony + small front porch they are beautifull ,herbs, fruit, vegies +flowers!

My cousin and I had a fantastic two days at the Spring festival. Our first, but not our last. We hope to make this event an annual event. My husband and I are building our first backyard garden. I had ordered many seed, and now have several fruit plants bought at the festival. Thank you for putting on such a memorable event. 💚🌱

I'm happy for you, I know how you feel! It took forever for mine to get to Sweden. I was so scared my precious Montana Cudu Corn and Gete Okosomin would get burned by the customs and border patrol... But they arrived in my mailbox a week ago!

Great video! I found a Baker Creek seed catalog while cleaning bleachers after a basketball game. I thought the varieties were interesting and took it home. A couple years later, I'm sprouting Chocolate WHITE EDGED Morning Glories from my few remaining seeds from last year, hoping to breed them because they go together so well with Moonflower. Just got Purple Lady Bok Choy sprouting now too. Your displays and seed "bank" are awesome!
The day I discovered Baker Creek was a blessing. I have become an organic heirloom gardener and every year my garden gets bigger. There are so many things I want to grow. I now raise most of my food which has kept me healthy. Thank you for providing us with such good quality seeds and plants. I have introduced people to Baker Creek by giving them the free seed packets you send when I order. Sometimes I will keep a packet to try new varieties but often I share. I want everyone to know about Baker Creek so they can have great gardens too.
I really enjoyed this RUclips video. I am well aware of Baker Creek seeds especially through roots and refuge and also other RUclips channels. I’m glad you made the video so I know the history. I assumed it was a family business that had started a long time ago - not realizing the originator had started so young and was still in charge of the business!

I'll add that one thing I really like are their seed packets. Most of them have photos and there is individual information about the vegetable or flower.. Something to look at and dream! Packets from other seed companies tend to have only generic info and no photos.

One day im gonna get over my major fear of flying and come to the expo or spring festival but until them I watch your videos and explore the catalogue which is a work of art and a fount of information and stories all on it's own. My love of gardening and learning about different types of plants and ways of growing started when I was 4 years old and my father was stationed in North Carolina for a few years. He planted a small garden and shared in a community garden plot. Then we stopped by my grandparents farm for a while in Alabama on our way to CA.
